For those running chillers, does the incoming water within the chiller change to the set-point water when leaving ?

If my reservoir is 80 > chiller > to plant pots > 70

Or does the chiller only decrease temperature gradually to the set point in a recirculating reservoir system ?

Just asking if a chiller could work with a drain to waste system or a system where the collection is not connected to the main reservoir ?

no the water doesnt go in the chiller get to a temp and go out.it goes all the time and inside the chilller is cold soo over time it gets to the chiller temp.
why do you need a chiller if your not using dwc? who cares about temp if its gonna leave fast
