I love this. Its been awhile since a smoked a pipe that wasn't glass.

Its soapstone and wood. Handmade in Ohio.

I am a chillum fan anyway...this one is cool.

I too have one of those i also have a hand carved pipe that is completly wood; the type of wood is called orange o'sage wood, which is very dense and hardy which stops the wood from imparting flavor or burning when you smoke. You'll notice the wood on your chillum looks orange. anyways nice piece hope you enjoy yours as much as i enjoy mine. Take it easy ill post pics of hand carved pipes that i do soon enough
