So I purchased a jecob 2500 pump it’s rated for enough volume(gph). However my line has several 90s and a couple t’s which I just found out brings the max head height to more than what it’s rated for…. My question is would the staygrow which pushes 2600 gph and 18 ft head height work… turned way down of course or would the aquaristik 500 be a better bet. It appears the aqauristik could still be ran at around 25% power maintaining proper head pressure while still moving roughly 150 gpa. The staygrow however can only be ran at a minimum of 30% which would be 1080 gph which is 72x the number of gallons. Would that be way too much pressure or would it just create more oxygen? Also I cant find a graph on head height in relation to gph for the staygrow. However it seems some of these pumps fall off very quickly…..
