Clawing and low ec issues

Im in coco but you keep saying soil.
Im told by some on here and other places that coco is hydro and I need to keep it at least 90% saturated and that when I feed (apparently should be at least twice daily) I am giving oxygen to the roots?

I should not let coco 'dry back' so the pot is light?

Oh, yeah sorry, actually I do grow in living coco coir (soil).

It's called Wonder Soil, Premium Organic Coco Coir Cube With Nutrients.

Looks like lots of people chimed in about this and that, some wrong, some right, about this and that.

Your experience will tell you the truth, one truth is what ever soil u use , grass, dirt, coco coir, bat turds, horse manure, ect... you can overwater if watering every day with little to no dryness.

Your plants still look awesome.

I believe it is nitrogen toxicity, with the clawing, waxy green leaves, and the stems drooping a little.

My shogun cal mag has 2.6% nitrogen (i didn't know) and my nutes are 5 -4-3 NPK canna A + B.

Im going to cut the cal mag to 0.5ml/litre and the canna A + B down from 2.0 - 2.5ml/litre to 1.5ml/litre and see what happens.
I'll flush some ph tap water through first.

You are doing well not listening to the soil guys telling you to dry out coco.

I do not do hydro coco but am surprised that no one has said you just need to fertigate more often with less runoff.
Once a day is normally not taking advantages of the hydro growth and some folks here will do 4 ferts a day.
Look into this or perhaps a coco grower can chime in for confirmation and how to balance your numbers.

This coco grower (me) has been watering every 2 hours for this crop and others. I feed about 10 seconds at a time, and at the end of 24 hours my goal is a bucket (3-4 gallons) of runoff. If I get less runoff when the plants get big, I add a second/feeding.

During dark hours I only water 4 seconds at a time. This to try to keep a stable EC level in the coco. Maybe I could do with less runoff, but I use the runoff to feed plants around the house and yard. I'm following the GH Floraseries growchart on Medium, and I tend to mix 11 gallons of water on a 10-gallon calculation, which makes my nute concentration right at the bottom of my feed chart. I'm figuring that I feed so often that the plants always have some nutrients available even at lower concentrations.

A few of my leaves are sort of leaning downward like yours, but without the tip curling. The down-leaning leaves in my case are clearly aiming at light reflections off the side of the tent when other leaves block light from above. This makes me wonder if your light is too far away or turned down a bit. You need a PAR meter to be sure. (I run my light at 400 ppfd for early veg, 600 for late veg and 800 for flowering.

And stop listening to the fools that are telling you to dry back your coco.

No kidding. Last year I watered every two hours, but I fed just a bit too much in each feeding. I had roots growing out of my air pots, down the drain lines and a bit into my sump basin. Algae too, until the leaf canopy got so thick there was not enough light to grow algae in the (clear) drain lines and sump bucket. No problems with the plants. 1.6 pounds in 4x4 with 4 plants.
