I took the nematodes to the department of agriculture and they put them under a microscope. Immediately they said they are of the harmless variety. They were able to determine this quickly because there was no toob (can't remember the technical term) at the end of there body for piercing the roots to eat. Not really relevant but a little fact. 80% percent of nematodes are found in the ocean, 20% on land.
Well as it turns out they are harmless nematodes. With that said I believe that my problem has been over watering (root rot). Thanks to everyone who replied and tried to help.
