Wanted Clone question

So was gifted with a cutting to clone today. And I didn’t pay attention until I was going to cut the tip of the leaves but it has white hairs. Do I let it continue todo it’s thing or put it under the light for longer period to stop it?

Agreed, they likely took it while it was in flower. Go with the regular light schedule for veg, anything from 18-24 hours and you will start to see it grow out in a few weeks. Sometimes revegged plants take a little longer to set roots and get going.

And if you put it in a soulless medium throw nitrogen at it. If you’re in a super soil like I am, just do the 18/6 or 24 if you prefer. Condition nutrients as deficiency is noticed.
