I feed mine at 300-350 ppm & I keep it at 350 after there rooted & transplanted.. My WiFi#1 don't like anything over 350 ppm most of the veg time.. I bump the ppm's when I flower

i like to be in the 5-650 range.. that way they have plenty to keep them green until they root. u cant cut the food off and the feet off, and expect it to stay happy. how would u feel?

imo, the reason u see tons of yellow shitty looking clones around town is because there seems to be a common misconception that u dont have to feed cuts to keep them green and healthy throughout the rooting process.

hmm I never give shit but water until I see roots - soon as the first one pops I hit them with some roots excel (well using gh rapid start now actually) then when they are about 1/2 popped I hit em with about 250 ppm of a transition type mix

Spray your clones with "anti" wilt spray if you want to keep them green. We call it wilt spray in these parts. I mix 1 oz of wilt to 7 oz of water. You only apply it like once when you take the cuttings. It will keep your clones nice and green.

anti wilt essentially saran wraps your clones so they cant transpire - you can root cuts with great success without using a dome

I usually only use domes in the cooler months just to keep the temps nice

i keep my ppms around 300 for unrooted clones& 4 to 500 ppms on rooted clones. i do however folar spray the unrooted clones with the same 300 ppm mix. i do that about 1 a day cuz you dont want salt build up on the leaves,i stop after i see roots. i been growing some heavy feeding whitewidows so those ppms will very with different strains. happy growing,

I've tried a side by side with veg and flower nutes... i do 1/4 strength my normal feeding. Someone told me about this, and they did cut faster in flower nutes!... I run the cns17 . And use a dome....and foliar once a day with ph'd water.

i heard that too wonderin'...something about the floral hormones increase...i think is worth the experiment if your flower nutes have enough N.

I used to feed em light and only had probs...now I feed em the same level of base nutes that the Mom's get and they stay happy.

fresh cuts (and seedlings too) need more p for healthy roots - thats why I always give a transition mix - equal amounts of npk

Works like a charm!:)

My unrooted clones get nothing but tapwater til i see roots and they never yellow plus I get 100% roots in 2 weeks tops. After that they get transplanted and i start them at 1/4 strength nutes. Cns17 works great.
Feeding unrooted cuts is a waste of nutes imo.

Just place Cut in Rockwool. 70-80ppm

9th day I Flood and drain around 300ppms

When roots pop witch is 14th day(2weeks) 1000ppm. Normally Transplanting by this time.

I use to play low like 80ppm on 9th day and 300-500 when Transplant. Just I felt the same way as my old friend that has been growing longer then me be living. That i was a Bad Mr. Mom and was under feeding my Kids.

With all the other post I quickly read threw, You will be at less 90% success rate!
