cloning ?

Hi, I am interested in Cloning Pure Kush, My ? is, I have some Hormex #1 Rooting Powder, Is this good to use for Cannabis ? I know Hormex comes in different strengths, Ive always believed less is more as far as nutes or chems on plants.
