Closet grow White shark,northern lights #5 and Orange krush.

A good friend of mine got me some amazing seeds while on a tour around the world smoking mary jane. The white shark seeds are from greenhouse seed co, the orange krush is actually from his own seeds he bred by selecting the best looking OK male/females he had, and the NL#5 seeds are from sensi seed bank.

Im using a mix of perlite and and fox farms ocean forest. About 70% perlite 30% soil. USing fox farms grow big/big bloom for nutes. All together i have

4x 68 watt 2700kCFLS
2x42 watt 2700k CFLs
1x reptile 10.0 UVB 40 watt floro tube
1x 15 watt 6500k floro tube
4x 27 watt 6500k CFLS

Currently running the 4x 27 watt 6500k CFLs and 15 watt floro tube, 24/7.

They've all sprouted and are now little seedlings. ( The last picture is of a plant that turned red my last grow :o)

feb 23 2010 Day 1 (Veg): Life begins

So for shits and giggles i planted 2 of the seedlings in pure perlite. I've never done this before so i was wondering when should i start feeding them?

Day 3 (Veg): first node

They've all started on their second pair of leaves. Im excited to see them finally start looking like little weedlings. I've also transplanted them all into dixie cups with holes drilled in the bottom for drainage. I planted 2 in pure perlite, 6 in about 60% perlite 40% fox farms ocean forest, and 2 in almost pure soil with some perlite at the very bottom/top.

Im rather impressed by how fast these are growing, Check it out looks like i got a NL #5 sativa pheno and indica pheno

Day 9 (Veg): lotsa growth

I added mirrors for more light reflection and a 42 watt 2700k CFL for a little more light, probably going to replace it with a 42 watt 6500k bulb soon. I also transplanted the purely perlite planted white shark into a hydro setup.

Huge update

Sorry guys have been busy, Thanks for the replys :) i wish there were more considering the time i was gone but hey im new :(


Anyway one was transfered to hydro the White shark. The NLs and Orange krushs are going well here's a load of pictures from while i was gone ill update with more info soon :bong-hits:

Nice set-up man :D

just a tip, mirrors dont actually reflect the kind of light you need, you'll be better off using some white mylar, but if that will case you a temp problem as you have such a small space you could try painting the walls white, that will give you better reflection than the mirror but not as good as mylar. But painting the wall white will also help absorbe some of the ambient heat.
