This is a common mistake...and probably why so many people harvest early.Well F&*k, no where did it say check calyx!!! As the post says I’m clueless. I’m glad for all the help

The trichomes on the leaves do mature much faster and when they look "ready" , where you are actually suppose to check will still be clear.
This is why I dont even use the scope anymore. After yrs and yrs of doing it you get to tho point you can see the bud and know.
There is still much swelling and maturing for your buds to go through. Growing is a thing of patience

It's all good :) Just giving you shit lol! I'm an old cranky hippie. Have patience with me lol. Ok so here's the thing. Best thing that I can tell you is growing weed is like... weird. It's a journey. Everyone takes a different path to end at the same destination... budzzzz. REALLY REALLY REALLY good bud. But there is "magic" in the grow. They aren't like any other plants and believe this... I've got a GARDEN full of veggies, melons, bonsai, etc. They way they grow and what they do is nothing less than spectacular. The amount of abuse they will endure compared to other plants is insane. FIM, Supercropping, LST, Bonsai, Defoliation all works to make a better bud if used correctly. Grow methods? Play with all of them lol :) You'll find your groove. But the bud? Never harvest the bud early. When you see what it looks like when its REALLY done the first time? You'll always know. It's a bitch to wait. But WELL worth it. Me? Most of the time I hold them past what most due. I want A LOT of amber... couch glue and the majority of my pistels faded with no real new flowering.Oh and I don’t have 100 colas, but bud sites, still learning vocab
So Lowe’s and homedepot didn’t have bt, so . I ought and used capt jacks dead bug dust.... cap came off , dump out and now my plant looks like it was in a snow storm. Should I rinse it? I tried shaking it off but it’s stuck to the resins. Help please...
