Checked this out today. Didn't know what to expect. Bit of a wait to get in at the start (about 30 minutes). Typical stoner inefficiency. The main area was what you would expect. . .booths of bongs, pipes, activists, grow gadgets, smoke gadgets, food products, etc. . .no cannabis. In a completely separate part of the facility was the 'Medication Area' where you had to show your card to get in. I assumed this would be kind of a smoke your own kind of 'chill' area. Thankfully I was wrong. This was where all the dispensaries were giving our free bowl pack and vapor dabs of almost everything they had to offer. The second booth I approached had a case of joints like you would see in a dispensary. I asked if they were selling them and the guy said no. I asked if they were just there to tease. He smiled and pulled one out and gave it to me then lit it for me. I sauntered around sampling dabs and flowers until I couldn't dab or flower anymore. Like the max yield expo, it's great to be around like minded freaks. It's even more great to walk around in a public setting with a joint in your mouth like it's no big deal. Overall the event was 50% totally lame and 50% totally awesome. I'll probably go again, and would say it's worth checking out.

That was pretty much the LA cup too! But there were a couple of booths charging for dabs and flowers.

Shit I thought it kinda sucked really. It boosted my ego though cuz I sampled n puffed till I was bored with it n my friends n I still had a stronger buzz from the bomber I burned headed up there. I must just be the best ever at a lot of things cuz them flowers n urls I sampled were way off of what I'd imagine competition level smoke was. I can't say who sucked or who didn't the most but nothing there was stand out impressive but the women. I hate crouds though.

Agreed! The whole setting was pretty legit. Vendors and growers and patients all enjoying a chill environment. My ego was also boosted as I realized there are not many peeps who know how to properly produce and purge quality bho. There was some pretty crude extractions that where a lil scary looking. Definitely nothing standing out or impressive. It actually felt pretty good to bust out the personal extractions and show some "professionals" what true quality is about. Awesome to see patients enjoy themselves. One plus was hitting some personal wax through the ewok chilled water bong. Definitely a well engineered contraption from a chill dude.

any standouts? or just a daze?;)

In the interest of time and sanity, we did not get around to much. . .We tried a Sour Willie from a dispo in Lyons, and some extracts from Mahatma in denver. . .it was pretty much a daze, but a good time.

I agree, I drove in from out of state for the weekend and thought the cup was horrible until you made it into the medication area and then it was solid. Colorado def. has some nice oil!

I thought it was pretty lame! Seemed like a crack smoking convention once you got into the restricted area... Too much BHO and not enough people smoking huge joints of fire nugs. We spent like 30 min there and got bored. I Smoked more weed waiting in line then i did in the venue.
