Can anyone suggest a good co2 controller in the 300-400 dollar range. Already have the tank and regulator, decided to go ahead and grab the controller as well.

So what do you guys reccomend?

i don't believe it comes with a sniffer. i have a sentinel chhc-4

Depends if you need the fuzzy logic bit or just need to keep it at 1500ppm during the day.

Hydro Innovations has a no-frills, 'keep it at 1500ppm' sniffer.

I have the Sentinal CHHC-4 and paid 560 for it. I think the Cap ones are around 370. You will need a enviroment controller to hook it up to first.
For the money you cannot beat the Sentinal. I have the Cap one also and it has a sniffer, You just need something to plug it into. Does not work by itself.

I have the sentinel evc2. It has an outlet for a co2 device and a photocell for day/night. This would work with the cap controller?

I'm gonna go with the Hydro Innovations. It leaves room in my budget for a chiller.

Thanks everyone. +rep
