I'm looking to distill some butane and I am trying to save a bit of up front cost. I have access to co2 and nitrogen tanks. Can I use these style tanks to reclaim my distilled butane passively. I also have access to dozens of 15# recovery tanks all full of different types of refrigerant(everything but r600 and r290). Some have even been empty for a while. Can I clean these tanks out some how. Does it depend on the refrigerant in the tank? If so I can make a list of what refrigerants I have in hopes one is something I can clean.
