Getting ready to make the switch after these last weeks of flowering. From soil to coco. My biggest concern, which nutes to go with. Not looking for 8 part mixes. 2-4 at most. Water soluble or liquid.
I’m so open to suggestions. Pics if you have them. looking for tried and still used suggestions.
I appreciate it so much.

I prefer dry nutrients to liquid. Dry nutrients are a lot more cost effective. I have had the same bags for 1 year and still have a lot left.

I recommend masterblend over jacks 321 because jacks you can only buy in the huge 25lb bags.

Here’s a link to my grow diary. I can post my application ratios if you’re interested.

Are the MB nutes pH stable?

I'm on my second coco DTW grow. I ran a subset of the Canna Coco line the first time. I didn't run all the bottles because of the cost and mixing hassle. I was also having to adjust pH every day. I found it to be a huge hassle. I'm running Megacrop this round. Not sure if I'll stay with it forever, but I'm liking it more then Canna.

You can buy jacks in 4lb bags it’s not just 25lb bags. Also go to customhydronutrients and they have jr peters(almost identical to jacks) in different sizes from 1 lb to 25 and it’s cheaper than jacks, their cal-nit is also cheaper and a tad more concentrated. Athena ag recently out out a powdered line and it looks super solid and simple!

Here are some photos. I use Greenleaf Nutrients. Mega crop for veg then there super bloom for flowering. This girl is six weeks old. Look at all the pre flower sites. All over. Lights still on, 18hrs. I found to get proper ph in coco is to feed your doses lower then instructions. Add a huge flush once awake. My ph going in is 6.8 over flow from my cloth part is at 6.2-6.5. Perfect for coco. Soon as runoff is lower then 6.2 I flush really good. You’ll see your plants respond in less than 24 hrs. Right back to feeding half of recommended feed. You will notice way better plant to nutrition intake with the roots. I also ad mycos around the roots once every 3 weeks. Once I figured it out. I’m getting about 2 inches of growth every day.

Greenleaf Nutrients is really cheap. 1000 grams of super crop free if you put into a sample then either bloom and flower nuts are 12-14$ for 1000grams. Trust me if your growing 4-6 plants at a time it will last you 4 grows or more.

I tried megacrop and wasn’t that impressed honestly. My plants still needed a cal mg boost so it wasn’t really a 1 part nutrients for me so I went back to my jacks formula but it is very cheap and it worked pretty well!

Yes I do add cal/mag. Even though it’s in the formula. Always have cal/mag no matter what nutrients you use. Especially in coco. Must have in my opinion. It’s cheap. GH cal/mag 9$. Last awhile. I only add it to water once a week.

At that point I’d rather just go with jacks, it’s cheaper and cal mg is already part of the 3 part, plus more well rounded ppm numbers imo
