Hi have a 3 plant rdwc, i clone and veg inside in a small tote

the room is in my garage, the plants we’re doing great before moved over.

when I first got the clones I got a tiny bit of root rot before I had a buddy do a water change when I was on vacation and he put the water level literally to the top

I put in new lights and had some warm days after I moved them into my big room. My water got as warm as 76f, I do use a good bit of UC roots tho.

I changed the water 3 times already, I’m at 8ml UC roots per gal of water. Cut nutes to 300ppm. Hydrogen peroxide too in some flushes

they are recovering but in shock and I can’t get things back on track.

Any advice guys?

tote pics is right before transplant. I use 5.5” net and drop into 5 gal bucket tops that are 6” with bottoms cut out

see pics

And we are back

I chopped almost everything off, I’ve been changing water every 2 or 3 days

10ml per gal uc roots. Some hydrogen peroxide but not constantly

back n forth on 150-700ppm food. (General Hydro)

You have successfully overcome the most difficult problem in Active Hydro systems. Now you have an understanding of prevention too. And your using trio?? hell yes. . its rare. . people just do things they way they should be done lol. . .Congrads bud!

Thank u brother

yes, I have a good understanding of prevention and revival of a dying plant now.

I know some people hate on UC roots but for me it’s a life saver.

Unreal comeback, nice work and good on ya for not giving up on the poor things, they must just love you.

Just be careful of any chloride content late in the grow, it can cause the weed to burn black and harsh.

Keep using UC roots n frequently changing water??

don’t go hi on nutes? What should I do to avoid that

Not sure I have an easy answer for that one. I sure wish Aqua Man was still around to field these DWC questions as it's out of my wheelhouse. All I could do is speculate what I would do, and that is possibly not gonna be the best advice so I'd be wrong to advise on it.
But I do know that chlorides in late flower is not good for the smoking characteristics. And I'd suggest looking for an alternative sterilization technique for the last few weeks.

I’ll switch 20 days out. Cleanerx or whatever the Botincare stuff is

It’s on a mild come back now

plants are doing great but my dehumidifier because it’s too cramped in there and causes water temps to rise

switch from UC roots to something else?

The switch to Hydroguard was awful

I have caused a leak in a bucket from hitting it with my dehumidifier and am going to rebuild my room

the leaking water assisted in gnats

I’m almost at wk7 and debating to cut soon n make the most of things

bad root rot came back and has the plants standing still growth wise.

but after shit n shit news the nugs still smell awesome. I’ll bet they ll be weak potency but I need the 2.5lb
