Those are not. BUT the two white hairs coming out of the calyx on the left are. That’s a female.

Those are. Couldnt see them in any other pic. But the plants in the background are full males. Hermies and reversals have female flowers with male parts growing out of them. I dont see any female flowers.

I think he meant the two hooks in the center, and didn’t realize the pistils/calyx are actually left of center

Here are many free books to get you started. I like jorje cervantes and ed rosenthals books best to learn all about growing.

can you tell me how I know which one is Ed Rosenthals book? Since they are listed by what appears to be titles.

Maybe you should re read your answer to my first post. It is you with the closed mind here. Everyone is telling you the same thing.

Then read the basics at least about the plant. If you have neighbors that grow you may have already pollenated their crop.

I am not being close minded and said I was willing to be wrong. But the exact same thing I just posted was what those were unit the heat stretch of over 100-105 which I should have listened to my gut and put them where they were shaded part of the day. I kept thinking I know they dont grow in the wide open full sun all day long as I have them in their native environment. But again I know what I saw and what was there. I have not even looked at them in that area for a while cause i have been concentrated on leaves and trying to figure out why I could not get soil PH to drop.

I have no doubt that you know they are males at this point. And I am more than willing to accept that fact and have already disposed of the two plants. But I think you are the one that said they could change due to stress is it not also possible that back in vegetative they were females. And I did actually do something right.

And no i have no neighbors. I have 40 secluded acres and one entrance and surrounded by trees. All around me is cattle land.

I agree. I tried to give a library of info we need before growing our plants but he made fun of whatever he randomly picked to read for a couple minutes.

I dont mean to be course but how can we help if the grower doesnt even know the basics?

Man dude dont get so harsh. They looked exactly like the plant above a month ago. Before we went on a 105 degree stretches. So are you saying they couldn't have turned male from stress.
I do not believe they were nodes. I sexed every single plant the same as I sexed the one in this picture. So if these are not pistils than yes I am wrong and more than willing to admit it. But if they are then no those were not new nodes. Those were pistils at one time that have since withered. And they are all over that plant. And I have others that have started to wither also. SO now thinking I may end up with many males. Which i had never even read that they could change due to stress.

I'm not trying to be a dick but go take a look at any flower you will see those are not pistols. I've been a grower specializing in flowers for a long time. Your looking for advice, take it, stop arguing. Your letting your brain get in the way.

By teaching the basics. And I was going straight down the list. You have since been more helpful by giving me an exact book. I mean I didnt know where else to start in the list of probably 75+ maybe 100 except at the start which the first 5 I read were all contrary to stuff you yourself say on here. So how am I supposed to learn if you are not specific. I will read the book you have suggested. And I certainly dont mind being wrong. But again if this is what I saw and you tell me it is not then I will be wrong in the future cause I will think well this is what it was before it wilted and I was wrong so these are males and they could be females. If you do not believe me in what I saw then you could be misguiding me at the same time. I mean basically you are calling me a liar and saying I am being a jerk all at the same time. While I am admitting I know nothing and could be wrong. But how is that a way to teach? You have a blank canvas and seem to only want to bash vs. be helpful. I dont know any other more positive attitude that I could take than to say I am willing to be wrong. But I want to be sure that what I saw was wrong. Cause I know what I saw. And if it is wrong then fine it is wrong. But I would just like to be sure for the future. cause every image I looked up when I googled it looked the same as my plants did when they were only weeks old.

Funny cause I posted pictures that Google said were pistils and you told me they weren't. Seeming more like you guys just want to come down on people that admit being ignorant and new than you are really about helping. I see the same thing in dog breeders so I get the mentality. I dont understand it. But seen it many times in 30 plus years of breeding dogs.

Im sorry. That e book list has degraded over time. I had not looked at it for a while. There is an Ed Rosenthal book under E for Ed in the list. It is his grower tips and has tons of info.

But im out. I am not here to argue or teach basics. Good luck. I hope you figure it out and do well.

Male from the first pics to the last. Better start with picture books to learn from. Sorry but it was the high IQ remarks at the top.

What you think was pistils are actually male bracts. It looks like the second pic you posted for reference was a stock photo from the internet? In that pic you can see the bract beside a calyx with stigmas. Either way you have males there.

Also, Nobody is trying to argue really, but you have to understand you're on a website full of people who are passionate about this plant and know it very well. Sadly you already got your answer, they're male. It sucks but that's the way it is.

so if anyone is still willing to talk to me at all can you please kindly tell me if these are pistils converting or what is going on cause I see other plants starting to do the same thing IMHO.
And this is the flower from that same plant. Is it male? Do I just chunk all of it out. One of them not showing any little round seed looking forms the other has started to show a lot of them. IS that gonna do like the other plant and eventually just be all pollen sacs? or am I even right on that term. I am not sure I am using the right terminology. Just looking to get an answer on chunking them before I do more damage and as MIMed said possible pollinating someone else by mistake though it would have to travel miles but hey I guess not an impossibility

As far as spider mites I dont think that is a go since I use the same sulfa mix that Iuse on my dogs to spray them every week. And it kills mites really well. I actually had a lady tell me hers had it and went and sprayed hers twice and the plant looks great now.

The high IQ was simple a way to say I can learn. I have been nothing but humble and willing to admit I know nothing and am a blank canvas. No matter an IQ if a person has no exposure at all then they won't know much unless they are a beethoven and can just play and dont even know how or why they can it just is a natural gift. I am two black thumbs I fear and grew up in an area that only one plant does well when soil is amended right. COTTON! So I have no experience and therefore totally ignorant as I have stated at leas a dozen times but we are gonna hang up on the one statement about being of sound mind and having a good IQ?

I AM IGNORANT FOLKS> Treat me as such! But do not treat me as dumb or stupid or like I am a jerk or not humble. Cause the meaning of ignorant and dumb are two different things.

Funny someone else called it a stoner board which I thought to be way off base as that term has very negative connotations as does Marijuana which was developed through racism. I have been careful not to use either or be judgmental and consider you as this forum says. Farmers, horticultural specialist of cannabis. I haven't dealt out any disrespect but seem to be somehow offending people by asking questions and defending myself.

Those last two pics look female (with spidermites..), but likely pollinated by your male so they'll produce seeds. I'd cut the male(s) down and stop wasting effort on them. The females will still have medicinal value even pollinated if the spider mites dont wipe them out first.

Thank you very kindly sir!
I have no issues being wrong! I just need to know for certain cause that is how you learn is being willing to make and admit mistakes.

So your telling me that out of 6 seeds that I got that were supposed to be feminine I just got the roll of bad dice and hit 6 males? LOL Or is it true that they could have changed in stress. Or do males dry up like this before creating pollen?

Again those a dried up bracts, not stigmas. The hairs(stigma) always emerge in pairs of two, not singly like that.
