Hey Dooby....If you understood Krav Maga then you'd understand that someone who knew Jui Jitsu wouldn't have any advantage over you because K. Maga is a blend of all of the martial arts. It's pretty much takes the best moves of all martial arts and blends them into one form. Plus they try to simplify the moves, because in Israel(the forces it was designed for) EVERY citizen must serve a minimum of two years, even women. Can you imagine trying to teach un-athletic people martial arts? So it's simplified but THE BEST form of self defense. You can inflict some serious damage. Watch a YouTube video sometime of the real Israeli Defense Forces(search IDF) performing some of these moves and then come back and tell me about a false sense of security. There's a reason the Israeli's were the original Special Forces. They had these teams well before we ever had Seal Team Six. I'd love to see you meet any special forces guy and tell me their skils are a 'false sense of security.' Sorry bro, but it's just laughable! ;)

now some of those big hot shots in colorado?
that's another story

Wobbly: Understand that it's the goal of EVERY law enforcement officer to remove as many guns from their community as possible. Plus, ever hear the term 'Dope on the table?' That show is enhanced anytime there are guns involved. Looks good for departments stats as well as the camera's. Nobody's attorney can 'shred' a gun charge unless it was unlawfully found, and for the example we're talking about here that likely wouldn't be the case. He's carrying one of his in the open.

Don: that vid was awesome, although I wouldn't ever want to get that close to a bear;)

Just to comment generally on this...Even keeping a gun in your home, for whatever purpose, is illegal if you're growing. Period. Not a lot of people know that, but it's absolutely true. You could have it simply for protection in your home. If cops enter and find weed and your gun(don't even need to be in same room, etc), you're donzo! And I have to agree with the people who have asked why you even feel the need to have one in the first place? I don't question those who have them in their home. Not my thing, personally, but I'm ok with that. CARRYING it is crazy in my opinion. Law enforcement officers will tell you time and time again that most acts of agression that you're trying to protect yourself from happen instantly, and you'd never have time to pull that ridiculously long .45 you carry. Even a smaller weapon is mostly useless. Translation...for every story you hear about a thief getting shot or the good guy ending up on top after an incident, there are probably 10 thousand or more that don't end up that way. That's a total pulled-out-of-my-ass number, but it's seriously a high percentage. If you're hoping to be that one percent that gets lucky, I wish you luck. Even you yourself has said you haven't pulled it ever. So why carry it? If you feel the need to have it, keep it at home. My two cents. Be safe. -DrD.

there are laws in some states that prohibit you from using mace cans over a certain size on a human, but thats with regular pepper spray and can vary form state to state

bear spray has no laws surrounding carrying it or using it...now with that being said if people start to go around strapped up with bear mace spraying everyone in the face im sure there will be laws put in place real soon

dont know what a cop would say if he saw you with one in a mall though, he might give you shit and tell you about the size restrictions but the fact that its bear mace there might be some loop hole there

Well, jeeze dude.
I didn't think Mossad was watching me, but now that you mention it???

Just saying I'll take a can of bear mace over a year of Krav Maga.
I'll take year of Jits over a year of Krav Maga.
Boxing over Krav.
Krav teaches good self-defense techniques. The most important being 'run away', as soon as you get the chance. Live to fight another day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nwezCoHpBY&feature=related
Not everyone you meet is going to have done the march to the dead sea.

I keep waiting for a Krav Maga guy to modify the style to make it legal in the Octogon! Love to see someone step up and prove it.

Just sounded like you teach it, or something.
Most people on here will be better defended with the Bear Mace than the Krav.
Especially against the hungry Stoner Bears that break into their trash, 'cause that butter byproduct is nourishing and puts them back to sleep.

LMAO first the form for the back ground ask if you are "ILLEGAL" addicted to marijuana if you have a red card you are legal with the state IMO. The sad fact is most firearm laws are on a federal level so good luck LOL. Second I really question your intelligence about coming on a public forum that involves growing a product that is illegal on a federal level and bragging about firearms so if anything happens to you on a on a federal level please don't come here crying about your stupidity. LEO love to here the words drugs and firearms in the same sentence we call it LEO Viagra because they get the biggest ragging hard on and come looking for a tight whole to stick it in guess where that is :).

P.S Bear mace is a wonderful product and just FYI any firearms incident even if you are protecting yourself will cost you a average of $100,000 in legal expenses and other headaches. So now is a good time to join the NRA

Of all the people I know with guns... can't think of a single occasion where they 'needed' it... though certainly appeared to make them feel better... and I have people around me every day slinging side arms...???

Have been around where guns were shown... which highly elevated the situation... couldn't say they really helped yo!

Why do people have insurance?
Why do people wear seat-belts?
Why do people have fire extinguishers?
In most cases, nothing ever happens that requires them
to use-it. But if/when they ever are put in the situation
that they need-it, I bet they're glad they have-it!
It's the same thing with firearms.
It's better to have it and not need-it,
then to need it and not have it.
People seem to think, "That will never happen to me".
Until it does happen to them, a friend or loved-one.
I bet those people in Tucson never thought some wacko
would start shooting people that day. Unfortunately, bad things do happen at times when we don't expect it.
I'll be happy if I never have to use mine in self-defense.
But if I am ever put in that position,
I'll be glad to be carrying my Glock.

Same here..... all at my non-growing buddie's house. It's just not worth it.... I'll take my chances with my Louisville Slugger. I guess if someone comes with a gun to take my shit, I'll have to get more shit. It's all insured anyway, except for the meds.........

Dogs.... man's best friend, feral cat's worst enemy! We have two, they're 100 lbers... big enough to take care of themselves without becoming a snack.....

I smirk everytime I see a sign on a tree... "Lost Dog - 8 lb Yorkshire Terrier....."
Somewhere a fox, coyote, mt. lion is picking Yorshire Terrier out of his teeth!
