Hi

i bought a cheap meter on ebay but dont know how to read it.

it says
range 0~9990us/cm
resolution 10 us/cm1000~us/cm)

how does that convert to ppm and ec cant figered out never used a meter before.

thx for the link but how does i convert the thing my meter read to ppm
what is 1000us/cm in ppm

Sorry for the link but this is probably the most helpful explanation I've seen around



If this doesn't help, you should go to the manufacture website - they usually have instructions that gives the conversion.

So my bluelab tells me that an EC of 0.7 equates to a CF of 7 a TDS of 350 and a ppm of 490....I don't know what your meter is but maybe that can help you?

thx man that link help me alot i think, from what i read there 1000 microsiemens my meter reads in us microsiemens is 500ppm.
