60 days ago I germinated 10 random seeds I had put up. They were not old, and I did not know if any where feminized, auto flowers, or photos. Of the 10 all germinated and
nicely, however I forgot about them and my awesome girlfriend (fighting state 2 brain cancer) had my back and made sure they were misted with distilled water using spray bottle and that the single bulb vegetative grow light was on at least 18hrs. God bless her. When I checked them out they looked as if they all died. Upon closer inspection 3 looked surprisingly healthy, and 2 we're fighting hard to not be in the "dead" group. Honestly I didn't think this would go far, at the time i had no equipment, nutrients, tools, or space and as for experience goes I've assisted in many grows, most outdoor, but this is my first dive into indoor soil grown cannabis. So I took a hotel ice bucket drilled plenty holes on bottom, used Organic Potting Soil from Micacle-Gro ®, and transplanted all 5 seedlings. They took off well and quickly stopped. Root bound. So I took a few different sized pots and carefully pried each seedlings apart which had all 5 began to intertwine. Luckily with some added earworm castings, all purpose plant food, Epsom salt, and unsulfured molasses, they all quickly jumped into a strong veg state. Very long story cut short: all 5 received new homes. I began defoliation, which they loved, along with some LST. And right when everything was going good and deficiencies began clearing up and my canopy was a sea of green. Things began going bad again. From heat stress and light pollution giving me mutations that freaked me out, to bugs flying around out of no where. And new deficiencies showing due to improper pH and unknown soil pH. Stunted growth due to root bound pots. And the biggest issue wet soil. I was over watering as if fish were present in soil lol. All 5 pots are overwhelmed with multiple kinds of creepy crawlers. So for about 3 weeks, I have been drenching soil in 3% peroxide no water added on one day, nothing the next. Then a mix of neem oil extract, warm water and dawn dish soap at twice the recommendation strength, spraying soil evenly and a heavy foliar spray which i shake off and fan heavily while lights out. Rh down to 40% temps at high 90°. Than nothing next day. Than pH distilled water with added liquid nutes from foxfarm half the strength recommended at 6.0 - 6.8. repeating that for 3 weeks. I've ordered new pots new amendments, and pest kill and preventions that will be in any day now. But I too of everything, i know for sure without a doubt, light cycle has never reached over 8hrs. Most days end in 4 to 6 hrs of uninterrupted dark. So why am I seeing white pistils everywhere?
