cookie recipe calls for oil,, not butter

ok,, most of the cookie / brownie recipe's at the store call for using oil rather than using butter. can i just simmer the oil with my keif for 30 min and add to the mix? dont think a crockpot willl work with oil and i dont want to go thru the b.s of double boilers.. any thoughts?

sub the amount suggested with butter but still use half the amount of oil youll have some bangin brownies!

Make sure when mixing in the cannabutter (soften first works too) you mix it well. Over mixing for brownies with canna butter is not a big deal. Makes for a more cake like brownie if you add an extra egg too.

now if im using keif and 1 stick of butter.. do i need to bother doing it in a crockpot? or can i just simmer in a pan for 30 to 40 min?

just melt the butter and use the same amount of butter for oil.
