Yes, but only in the sense of keeping what's already there. Cool temps don't grow more resin. Genetics, light and plant health do that. What cool does is slow the terps and trichome heads from cooking off, so the frost you built stays intact. Heat above about 80F in late flower is what dulls it.

A nights-in-the-low-60s drop is plenty. Going down into the 50s or lower doesn't add anything, and cold damp air is how you end up with bud rot, so keep RH around 45 to 50% late in flower. Don't let the buds sit in condensation when the lights kick on.

Are you talking about the tent during late flower, or harvest and trim timing?

Yes late flowering to keep the plant cool while the air slowly warms up so there is no condensation as the plant warms up from the cold air also so the plant does not stress for mass water as she wakes up.

Your condensation logic is right. Buds sweat when their surface is colder than the dew point of the room air, so a slow warm-up beats a fast one. I'd drop the "mass water" worry, though. She doesn't gulp and stress when the lights come on. The stomata open gradually and transpiration ramps up with light and temp, so there's nothing to cushion.

What matters is keeping the swing small, roughly 10 to 15F between lights-off and lights-on, and not letting RH spike overnight. Run the dehu and fans through the dark period, and if the tent gets cold, put a heater on a controller so it starts creeping up shortly before the lights kick on. Keep the root zone above about 60F too, since cold media slows uptake more than a cool canopy does.

What are your tent temp and RH right at lights-on?

69f 46% humidity, -2 leaf temp, late week 6 flower

What's wrong @GrowSense nothing else to say? 😆 🤣 😂 im in week 7 flower now.
