Fk its only a matter of time for me. Hope to live through it. My son is a paramedic/firefighter....his GF works at a pizza joint serving tables lol they stay with me saving $ to buy a house. Coming from all directions. My wife drives a van for Madison county door to door service lmao yep its coming. My decision was made a few days ago..I am in for the duration and no need to go out.
I would begin getting concerned about basic services as the containment efforts ramp up..ie: garbage collection, water treatment plants, basically everything that we are accustomed to having..OVER!!!!!!!!!!
Stores are already closing here..not a good sign. Even if they can remain open..staffing will be a problem..I guess my stocking up early was not such a bad idea!I'm sure by now it's starting to show at the store's around me also......... it's only time till the stores will all look the same.....
Unfortunately as there are now some more test kits being made available..the case count will spike..it's not that there are so many more cases..but more like people are finally being able to get testing..thus the apparent increase that will surely come.they say there has been 8 here so it's just starting around me also......
TBH the symptoms I had two weeks ago are spot on with these symptoms.
I had fever, a cough that was very unproductive, and hard to breath but I also had some body aches. They said I had bronchitis. I tested negative for influenza
I think that one of the things that has helped me avoid the seasonal flu for all these yrs, has been my own policy of staying away from crowds in the flu season..especially staying clear of children. I have always done my food shopping very early in the mornings to avoid the hoards. The sheer magnitude and NOT really being to to out at will has given me an early case of cabin fever.My wife and I had this crap in November.
Dr said not flu also, at least not the one they had a test for.
