"Let us start with how rapidly corona spreads. As we can show with simple match, assuming all corona cases are observed confirmed cases, corona grew at a daily rate of 10.5%. However, according to widely cited public sources, the daily growth rate in many countries is well above this.

Arguably the most repeated phrase in corona publicity is that it is growing at 30% daily. At the outset, we can discard this number as entirely unrealistic. How do we know? If that number were true of the virus from when it became known on November 15, it would have already infected 1.4 quadrillion people.

However, this number must also be false even if we just focus on the United States. Again, how do we know? Assume the virus entered the US, roughly accurate assumption based upon existing evidence, on January 1, 2020 and grew at 30% daily, it would have already infected 6.3 billion Americans. In other words, it would have infected every American man, woman, and child 19 times. However, neither can it be the globally observed number of 10.5%. If it entered America on January 1, this would result in fewer than 6,000 corona cases. So the question becomes: how fast is corona spreading?"

Yes,so true!I think that's what God is trying to teach us with this lesson:DIn general.We should change many things in our lives and thinking after that.We now know what essential is(and i don't mean toilet paper haha).I stopped buying all the stupid sh.. i was buying before without really needing them:)
Also it is good to know/collect/grow essential herbs(and make tinctures and such),because healthcare system could be overloaded and then we will rely on herbs...again.

Orthodox Easter is coming and they are wondering if they should close the churches?!:/Are yours open?At first our priests said that nothing can harm you in God's home but now they are changing their minds and disinfect very often,telling people to stay away from each other.Which is wise:)But if they close them completely it will look strange.......

I did notice that our alternate mail carrier drives now, (instead of walking) and wears some type of gloves while delivering the mail.
I never understood the UPS, FEDx, and mail carriers wearing those dumb shorts in the dead of winter. DUMB as DUMB can be.

Haven't seen my regular mailman since the Thursday before last !?

My mail sits in a big plastic bag attached to the doorknob outside of my front door Untouched by me all week until early Monday morning when I glove up mask up put it in a ziplock bag and throw it in another box for another week

For people who say the masks don't work there's a billion+ Chinese and every healthcare worker who seems to think they help, and I'm going to err on that side of caution thanks
