Wow you really have it packed in there! How do you keep this tent cool?dehuey.
I have a 440 cfm intake fan that brings in air from outside the house. Its hooked to a autopilot environmental controller. I have an exhaust fan that runs constantly on very low setting.Wow you really have it packed in there! How do you keep this tent cool?
And thank you brother.Damn events, thats freaking gorgeous my dude!!!! Howd the leaves turn soo dark purple?
would a holding tank between the water line and your grow up the temp a little? I wonder if there is an inline heater that would go as low as you would need it, like the ones they use for hot tubs. But hey they look amazing.HA! So true.. Im kinda old fashion.. Im like,
"Hey Meathead, your going into turn 3 like Dale Earnhardt"
Oh they been warmed up for the last 3-4 weeks at 64 to 68..
But I refill straight from the RO filter which is hooked straight to the water line..
And that was last night, and I turned off the heaters in the control bucket till it refilled. It took about 12 hrs to refill. So I just turned them back on a few hrs ago.. They are at 56 now...
Yes you see them crazy sugar leaves too? Almost like it was a reveg, but I know that is not it...
These cold water temps wont be a problem after this run, as I will put some insulators under the buckets..
with my 1000 watters it runs 77 to 80 depending on outside temps. I changed out the bulbs a week ago. About day 49. I changed to 10k mh finishing bulbs at 600 watts. Well actually I have them over clocked so they are running 630 watts a piece. I can run 65 to 72 with them.. This works for my neck of the woods.. This wouldnt prob work in Miami with thier nightly temps...Wow you really have it packed in there! How do you keep this tent cool?
That makes sense didn’t realize you were air cooling tge lights. I run 4 lights daytime and 4 at night so I don’t use much gas either.:smoking:I have a 440 cfm intake fan that brings in air from outside the house. In the summer I change it. I use an window ac in the room the tents in and use it as a lung room.
My light are in hoods. They pull air from a separate cool room in the basement and push it thru the hoods and out my vent in the living room/bedroom. It keeps my house at 68 to 70. So my furnace only has 2 degrees to make up.
So my heating bill drops dramatically, and that allows me to run the 2000 watts of lights and still didnt make it over 240 electric bill. Coupled with wisher advice on the cns17, we doing really good on the budget.. Im happy!
Gas for my heat is way more expensive that lights to heat my house.
4000 watts hps in hoods hooked up like mine, along with working 7 to 5 mon thru fri, you would almost wipe out the gas bill so your bill wouldnt change, but yet you could have 4 lights going for a 8 pound harvest...
I do have heaters in the system. 2 of them for a combined 350 watts.. So like now my system is up to 68.would a holding tank between the water line and your grow up the temp a little? That is pretty smart right there! I dont have nothing during the day so that is when i use the gas heat. That makes sense didn’t realize you were air cooling tge lights. I run 4 lights daytime and 4 at night so I don’t use much gas either.:smoking:
And I don’t have a exhaust out the house because my neighbors are to close. :speechless: I’m installing a mini split this spring in the basement to help tge house ac with the heat. That is pretty smart right there! I dont have nothing during the day so that is when i use the gas heat.
Just released my first single lol
Ya I dont exhaust outside either. Just to the basemant. And I don’t have a exhaust out the house because my neighbors are to close. :speechless: I’m installing a mini split this spring in the basement to help tge house ac with the heat.
My heater will start to kick on when I hits about 20 degrees out side but only for a short time. Single digits it kicks on a bit more.
And thank you brother.
Its all about that canopy. You need good patience. I have semi scrogged before. I would supercrop the plants down then throw a net on..This time I weaved thru the net. But the real reason that the colas are fat is because I lollipoped so high that none of the colas will be over 12" and most will be 8 to 10"...
And I snipped off any secondary branches that didnt make it within 3 inches of the tallest cola.. That is very important to the girth of the remaining colas..
1.5-1.8 ecWell I have 24 gallons of RO water in containers ready to setup this DTW. I'm taking some stuff out to the farm to burn first (my old pots, branches, garbage with some stuff in it from trimming, etc.) then coming back and cleaning everything/setting up the DTW. Thing is I'm flipping tomorrow, and will run Grow for 2 weeks and switch to ripe but...
What do you guys think I should run my EC at? I plan to have them fed twice a day for now, but obviously will increase further into flower.
1.5-1.8 ec
run grow for the first 21 days
then switch to Ripe day 22
what are they getting right now
