I just put like 1tsp in a gal. And see where that gets me. Then just do the math from there. When I set the ppm I always aim a lil short then bump up if I have to.

if you are running 6/9 and you are actually running 50% right now...then that would be 3/4.5 then multiply 3 by .40

so first you need to know what ratio you are running
then you find your 100% so that would be what ever your ratio gives you per 1 gal
next you find out how much you have and how many gallons are in there.....then you take what ever the pom you have and devide by the 100% which is you constant
to find out what you have

so for instance
my 100 is an ec of 1.0 for a gal
my gallon is running down so I refill and see that my ec is .75..that tells me that I need to add .25 or 25% to the gal to make it 100 again
