So you got a 3 bucket system there? Is the pump just setting in a tray of water? Explain your system to me, and what all diy materials you needed. How much did it cost you to build?
the pump is for air....you fill the buckets with nute water...the hose on the side shows the level of the water....usually you change it out once a week

@Wisher619

I like to see ppl problems then try to diagnose what is wrong, so I can learn from it... I just wanted to see the dude get his plant back healthy... The way that thing looked,, I was worried it might not make it much longer....

Damn that DemonTrich, Darlins Net (Photo of the month) is a nice looking cola! I want a plant with awesome colors like that!

For every 10 new growers...probably 8 quit due to over thinking and over spending. If someone wants to argue then let them put the nute manufacturers kids through college hahaha. i have seen countless people fail because they dont like the answers they get and constantly butcher plants. Sometimes its best to get it over with... just tell them to use more nutes!!!

@Wisher619 now that you got me understanding nutes and bakers percentages,,, Yes I went and did the homework you gave me last night!

Now I need to learn about teas, bacteria, and keeping my roots happy. I do have about 5, 4' roots coming down in the bucket.. They are whiter than Ice Ice Baby... lol.... temps are about 73. I did throw a bottle of ice in their to cool it down, but i don't see me getting it down to no 63. I need to learn more about hydro and roots and etc.... I will go look for some info myself, but as always, I like to hear you explain things!

@Midwestjay how do you keep your buckets cool and your roots happy? What do you use?

Well I keep my ac 73-75 in the house and being on the floor the bucket usually stay in that range. Plus. With 1000gph air pump and hydroguard roots stay on point and keeps plenty of o2 in the water.

So more air can alleviate some of the higher temps? Hydroguard? Guess I need to google.... never heard of it...

warmer temps deplete disolved oxygen ...creating a perfect enviroment for pythium and the likes.....Air pump and difuser help to replenish the oxygen....hydroguard is a specific bacteria which protects roots by creating a sybiotic relationship with the roots
my res runs about 74-76
