I recommend first year growers esp in coco to just use the bloom formula.
Its so easy to get salt build up or N Toxcicity. And bloom nutes do a damn good job.
Shit i grew with lucas for my first grow, then switched to FloraNova Duo...
Been rocking it ever since..
Using current culture next.
Then prob try this cns 17.

Ya I wasnt meaning you.
You atleast know what toc and dif look like.
You know what good growth looks like...
Coco takes a couple runs to truly understand.
to me its less about what your ec is,
and more about watering to run off,
and keeping your root zone right where you want it..
Hand watering and timer watering are diff.
The better you can control your water flow the better...

but I tweak my stuff to fit my deal

the recipe I gave is your standard that will set you up for success

U think i can mess with the controls and get it to stay at 60* and 60% rh and dry my herb?
I could lay it on the racks or take the racks out and hang it in there..
Would the lack of air flow be a problem?

i thought we wanted our herb at 61 rh. that number stuck in my head for some reason.

regardless. i let my kush get to dry during the cure, but does not smell like hay. however, making oil out of it saved it..

I have a spare fridge also. What a great idea. Also curious about airflow.
I would need a bigger fridge tho. :)

no it should be fine
although airflow would be ideal

actually get a cheap PC fan and stick it somewhere allowing air to flow through

I think the RH is gonna be the problem not the temp

how to get the rh down because it is sealed

maybe open the fridge every couple hours

or stick a tiny dehuey on a digital setting in there
like a digital rh controller that controls the dehuey on and off

How is this made?

real simple. all you need is two glass dishes, keep the water luke warm, fan blowing on it. if you touch the water bath and its to hot for a baby, your bath is to hot for your iso oil. heh. well it works for me in this desert environment.. your mileage may vary i guess.

this is how i made it:
i took a bottle of walmart ISO the cheap stuff. a jar of crappy noob grown herb ( which i guess would get lots of people ripped.. me not so much, kush oil. yeah )! i froze the weed/jars. even the jars i will use to filter the oil into. then i took a bag of frozen peas, and put a frozen plate on top of the peas.

put this jar on-top of the frozen plate to keep all freezing cold..

i open the lid of the mason jar holding the frozen herb, i pour the frozen ISO onto it.. cap it, shake like hell for 8-10 seconds. then pour the frozen cold ISO and weed into a strainer, then filter it to three coffee filters attached to the mason jar you pour the weed into ( the picture above ).

for good qwiso. you want a quick wash 8-10 seconds.. keep your shit cold, and i guess, if you do that and do not over heat it while you evap the iso, you good to go.

i got ripped last night, laughs. also, i dunno if you have to use a frozen plate. i live in the desert. so, i thought it made some sense to me.
