ive been pondering about this whole perp. growing thing. vegeing in a different tent will sort of rule out scrogging since filling the net is mostley done in veg phase. i could make a srog rack fixed to the draintray and move the whole thing to flower room i guess....:drunk2:

I’m going to be scroging these, they still have a few weeks of veg left.
They are seeds so not sure how many male/female either..

i have the same size tents but i cant finish veg in flower tent like you, i wanna have 2 flower systems/phases in 1 tent cause splitting it in 2 i will lose heaps of light.

Could just use some cheap ass foam gym flooring. the stuff that's sort of a puzzle piece looking with diamond played steel pattern on it. Would probably dampen noise more than carpet anyways and you don't gotta worry about spilling shit on it

ive sort of spent my share for the mo. over €2000 this month and xmas is coming. ive got the same carpet in my bar and its easy to clean spills...high quality micro is pretty much stainproof. but i dont care about spillages or the carpet anyways.
was more about nasties in the grow room!!

No I put the plants from seed into the big tent then take clones and flip the plants in the big tent.. essentially the clones turn into the new mothers/plants.. yea it’s going to be hard getting out the males but I think I’ll be able to figure it out, hopefully haha..

Having computer problems. I soaked 5 beans in shot glass then transferred to a paper towel and all opened after in that for 24 hours but no tap root growing. Seems like they should be. Did I forget something? I only had a 50 percent survival rate getting seeds to grow but a 100% on cuts

well male pollen are going to produce male and female seeds
and had a much more diverse progeny
when you create pollen from a female
it is pretty close to what it is so the seeds will end up as the same or very close...especially when selfing
but
with male you get many background combinations
and a stronger genetic line .....genetic pooling blah blah blah big words
it is like inbreeding with to fems but male fem keeps bloodlines strong and plants stable

I would build a false floor with insulation underneath....bead the floor joint between wall with some silicone....no critters and killed the noise

so for the average hobbiest, breeding from herms is easier as you get a more direct transfer of the two female characters...less trial and error. but only good for a couple of gens. did i understand correctly?
about selfing, is that just to get seeds of that same fem or is there another reason.
ive had the odd male flower before, but never induced on purpose. if u use silver or watever method does the plant boost out the male flowers or is it just a couple like if they turn themselves?

that would be the optimal solution but $$$ and itll set me back even longer. also losing height not really posible without fking with the tents. Ive got 200sqm new carpet sitting there so.....

the main question is, is carpet asking for a bio shitstorm or is it ok if keept tidy and clean.....its the sort they use on launches, banks, expos....etc so it doesnt rot or anything. ive had it in 1 of my bathrooms for like 3 years now, no probs.

to me I dont think it is good to herm a plant and breed with it
but that is just me
Selfing yes is basically you take 2 cuts
herm one and seed the other
then with those seeds you should have a good rep
but you can also take a seed that looks the closest to mom and herm that and cross back to the mom which the seeds usually will be completely inbreed and homogenous
seed or clone dosnt matter

im with ya. i actually ripped insulated concrete flooring out to gain height:crying2:
kick me please, i didnt think on the noise at the time but it was cracked n shotty tho. its not a thin concrete ceiling/floor its just the scraping sound of me walking around, not the fans n stuff. guess ill just throw it down and rip it out if i get any probs. being in sealed tents should help.

i found a big ladybird nest i one of the blocks i busted for my entrance. i transferred it to a box. wen i used to build comercial greenhouses the organic customers bought them for pest control. should i let a couple chill in my tents?:D

For what it's worth, if we manage to hang onto this place until my private disability is won back in court, I can reframe to as high as 14' ceilings and have over 800 sq. feet of shop to work with, with natural gas, electric and water, so the basics are all there for whatever.

If nothing else it will let me know what of the items I started collecting and have already for other stuff, to keep and what to get rid of. Thanks!
