You mean a humidity dome? I have a dome, tray, and heating mat.. And single t5 2' that sits over it. Is that what you mean?I hear you
the only problem is DWC isnt very good for mothers....unless you are taking cuttings like every 2 weeks
because of such rapid growth
what you could do is when they ate big enough...take clones of each and then flower the plant that was cut
and tou have clones that will take some time to grow to a mom and you will be flowering at the same time
a plant that is mature enough to flower
as for the transplant.....dont wait until the roots are exploding out of the netcup....as soon as the roots pop through the plug
immediately put into its new home....that way the 2"er dosnt restrict root growth in the final home
better yet....but you already purchased it
I was gonna say
just root the seedlings in a 1 dollar jiffy 6 pack starter dome.....with the rapid rooters instead of the jiffy pellets
when the roots come out....put it in its final home
use the dwc for clones
when each seedling has reached 7 nodes cut it down to 3 and clone the top
as those clones take root.......you keep growing the first plant
then you flower the first plant....and you will know if the flower you want to keep or not......if you dont like the flower....you can flower the mom and be done....if you like it then she will become a mom
So that 2" net cup will restrict the root growth? I figured they would grow right thru that, and on down. That is why I thought that I could just plant the whole net cup and everything.I hear you

yeah It dosnt serve a purpose to transplant and then transplant again because it will be getting the same enviromentSo that 2" net cup will restrict the root growth? well shit fire... lol I paid 19c a price for them net cups. I'm out 2 dollars now! Lol... I just keep reading about everybody who has drown the seedling putting it in there 2 early. Maybe I just scare myself sometimes... speaking of scared. That water we sat the photo in is 6.8! From 5.8 yesterday... What is going on there? It looks sad... this plant hasn't looked to good in awhile.yeah It dosnt serve a purpose to transplant and then transplant again because it will be getting the same enviroment
the seedlings will be fine in the buckets
as long as there are roots....actually I have seen people run strait seed in dwc....little plug sitting in the hydroton
as long as they are getting wet which they will because you have the drip rings....so the baby dwc dosnt really serve a purpose
and yes humidity dome....so as soon as the roots pop out....stick them in there final home
0 transplant shock
Standing tall she is.....

OK sounds good. I was thinking a flush was in store for her too...7.5/10/2.5
micro/grow/bloom
2.5 Calmag
I should just pour this nice and slowly so it drains all around huh..7.5/10/2.5
micro/grow/bloom
2.5 Calmag
that is very interesting. Makes sense. Damn coco always confusing me lol... guy at the hydro shop today ask me what I thought of the coco he sold me. Said all his buddies use top feed dtw... in the coco...I just checked something.....DONT CHECK THE PH AND EC IN THE SAUCER!!!!
take it out into a shot glass then check
in the tray my ph is 4.2
in the shot glass it is 6.0
you are reading the ec and ph of the plant root zone not the actual water when you do what we were doing
remember the plant itself conducts electricity
so in the water there is gonna be a completely differ value then just the nute solution by itself
well yeah....thats what I do as wellthat is very interesting. Makes sense. Damn coco always confusing me lol... guy at the hydro shop today ask me what I thought of the coco he sold me. Said all his buddies use top feed dtw... in the coco...
Well I took my time and slowly ran that gallon thru.
