I think you might want to transfer over

hydro is cool

but coco is hydro but easier....
you can move the pots around
you arent connected to each other

when a run gets pythium and all plants die over night......which really sux
because everything is connected with no buffer..*coco*

for large scale commercial grows
it is either coco or Pro-Mix or Rockwool

yea I have seen the company's show pictures of large scale grows but other than company propaghanda I have never seen it

all giant warehouse grows are almost exclusively Coco or Pro-Mix or rockwool

but I dont just like gydro, i really really like rdwc the most..
I think i would really like a aerosystem too....
I know there is root rot issues, pythium, and all to deal with,
but even still, i love it!
Im not scared of pythium, why?
hell i had it so bad, that i had to rinse 3/4ths of my roots away..And that plant grew some dank!
Im a long way from being a rdwc professional grower I know, but the hardest thing with anything, is just being brave enough to try.. And once you make it through, you always feel you can...
I shouldnt of knocked coco, but for me, im just a rdwc fanatic :)

In rdwc i just look in the epicenter :)

Im gonna keep coming up with arguments to the coco/rdwc between us, because we are adults and we can debate things maturely... Sometime an agreement can never be had, but at least we get a full understanding of everything, and honestly that is my goal.. Im just glad i got someone who debates facts and not solely just opinions, and will even be willing to test them theory..

it is easier to fit more plants in with pots as opposed to buckets

and when you get coco down it has an explosively high growth rate

It looks good brother! I beleive we will l;earn a lot from your defol! You can put some of this bs to bed with a successful run using this tech!
I for sure will be watching! I believe that a good lollipop is also detrimental...
And we be watching how well you fill out the sreen. See to me that is the main thing your trying to learn, is when to flip to maximise that net full of colas.. I think you will come up short just a lil.. I did too my first scrog..

The right side scrog , the left wasnt... I got 303 grams from the 1 plant on the left... single dwc
I got 460 on the other 3 not scrogged... they are 3 weeks behind the scrog girl in this pic..
i did a lil defol, and lollipoped, should of lollipoped more... I dont lollipop enough when i do! I will get better!

I think pro mix/coco/rockwool/hydroton/aero all have serious potential, and if any or studied and the time is put in, you will be a winner.

What is important, is that we all understand that each has its own set of hurdles, and over coming them can be median specific..
I know I have treated my coco very well and I want to see it return the love...
So we will see... we are gonna flower these out, after we get them sexed, and canopy evened out..

Well lights on so i will go down and see how they look :(

Ya I agree I don't think it will fill the net out but I'm not doing any weaving. Did you weave in veg in the picture? I'm using it more for support that's why I have it above them about 10" while they stretch. In a couple more days I'll lower it where I want it, let them stretch a couple more days then defol. to me as long as the coco is wet I am good

if it is drying....I have been a bad father

think of coco as dwc....with a buffer
that is literally what it is
with promix or RW....it is def different
you have to let them dry
but with coco
keep it commin

Had to stop by the hydro store. Buddy gave me a second tester bottle of mammoth p. And I filled out the form and had another sent there. Should have plenty to get thru this run and decide if I want to continue. I will be doing a lot of research and trying out some teas as well
