Can you pit a piece of duct tape over the light?

You should see how much duct tape I have on that thing, there is no possible way to completely block the light without covering the sensor part.

In a world full of smart phones You would think they could build grow equipment without lights that come on after dark!

you would think.. of course on the picture they don't even make them look like lights so it's sort of deceiving..

Has anyone here seen growing ninja's grow tent (bucket tower)?
In a word... wow!
I don't like to pick on the new guy just getting started...but wow!
I seriously thought about sending him a small grow tent for Christmas.
I guess i havent seen what your talking about....

Hahaha...

Well it 100% for sure throws a yellow/red light all night, that is not a lie. I'm guessing you've looked in your room at night time and have seen the lights im talking about..

What else could it have been? They looked so happy otherwise..
I just dont know really... but i should see some nanners..
I go look in my tent now...
ok so I just looked...
Yes there is a red light,
and then the yellow meter light..
I cant see ANYTHING with them.
Also tho, mine sits in the top of my tent,
so my hood blocks it from 75% of the canopy,
and it doesnt put near enough off to get any reflection off the mylar...

So my analysis is,
if I get some seeds on that 25%
and none on the 75%,

then I think we can justify,
that meter ain't got no alibi!
:)

It is deceiving as it says it will not effect the night cycle in plants! Not deceiving, but a plain lie if we can prove it!

Yea mine is literally level with my plants so they are getting hit with direct red/yellow light. Even if its not bright enough to see other things with i would think it can still have an effect, just a guess though..

Another thing i should have freakin thought of that i could've done without buying ANYTHING, i could've just plugged the co2 controller into the co2 timer function on my enviro controller (titan saturn 5) and made it so it stays on all day and it would've automatically turn off when it turns night time.

Was just reading through the comments/reviews on amazon and a few people mention the leds, one of the most recent complaints had a comment back from the company saying they just came out with a new model and the new models new feature is that all the leds turn off at night cycle. LOL...

I wonder if that would work.. I still have the original packaging.. I wouldn't mind an exchange for the new model at least either, i still want a co2 meter for my veg tent..
