I just drop in a cup of water but any way works the same IMO.
Just keep that paper towel semi warm. They can get super cold in the paper towel and slow down germination. But if it’s a good seed it will pop

I would definitely want to get that ph down to at least 6.0. Preferably 5.8 in Coco.
Ph down is cheap. Use as little as possible adding 1ml at a time till you get it down. I believe Wisher suggested the same thing

I personally don’t like ph up or down but definitely it’s more important to get it down. Then try to adjust your mix if possible so it’s closer without up or down

What’s your mix right now again? Are you using silica?

A couple months back I️ was looking at that spartan timer, but the off time was only 60 min so I️ passed and got a digi timer. It was crap.
Then l searched a lot for a short cycle timer that could run for 30 sec every 2 hours. Hard to find. They all 1 min on times.
Then l found this Apollo and thought it was the one. Didn’t realize at first it was the same exact day the spartan but more expensive. Hahaha. That’s when l decided to just go hourly and keep the timer
Best decision I’ve made. Haha. But when l need another I’m def going with that spartan. Same thing

I have the ph up and down already on hand. My mix was 13/14ml of grow. I have the cns17 grow, ripe, bbloom , silicia blast along w the ph up n down. Wasnt tge silicia blast for if i needed to get my ph up. I will start adding ph down now

Ohhh goodness. Soo i added a ml of ph down it only dropped like .1 soo i added another ml n i have messsed up. Lol ph3.9 810ppm. Should i start fresh w a new gal of tap again. I was ALOT closer before.

Yes...
When you add ph down you stir really well.
Let it set a good 5 mins. Then if still need adjustment a few drops at a time. Stir..

Yes l was gonna day to lower your silica to get the ph down but if you didn’t use any than use the ph down

Ya start over. It’s all good you’ll see that stuff is touchy. That’s why you do really small drops. Wait 5 min. Check. Repeat if necessary

Until your plant shows it wants more or less. Maybe never. Lol. 700 ppm or 1.4 ec is a good safe number. No need to add or drop unless the plant asks for t IMO. Better to stay consistent more than anything imo.

Awesomesauce. Soo i nailed the 700pm mark. I got my ph down to 6.2 with a couple drops of ph down. Ill check again n 5min and if its still at 6.2 ill add 2 more drops and that should get us to 5.8ish its messing w the ppms some everytime i add any ph down

Im just reading up on what system to go with.

I enjoy hangin with my ladies wen i have time, its more of a hobbie than just pumpin out max product with the least amount of work.

was thinkin floodndrain but the more i read about UC the more it tickles my fancy.

@EventHorizan why you not digging your UC system?
Be one with the force, feel the flow and th UC will guide you to great places :cool:

The UC is fine and I like it very much. But the room is only got 6 foot ceilings..
The UC is made to grow big plants, 6 footers. A person would want 8 to 12 foot ceilings to really get the benefit of the UC. I might need to move the UC to my garage in my big tent, and just let it grow straight up, with some topping.

Im not for sure why your ph would change just sitting in a bucket. Is the temp in the room changing a lot?

Do not let the paper towel dry out.. If your using heat in the house it will dry out quicker. Dont germ the seeds in a paper towel, in direct light. If doing it in the tent, I would shut off lights. Personally I sit mine on top of the microwave, and put another saucer over top.

put it in a cup untill you see the tap root coming out, then transfer to paper towel. Keep very moist.

Silica blast is for the plant cells. It strengthens them and helps against rot, and disease, bugs, and mold, by strengthening the cell membrane interior walls. How ever it does raise ph, so we can get 2 uses out of it.. Whats hurting us, is the strating ph of your tap.. But we will make it all right...

Ive had to restart too.. All part of learning.. I once added 60 ml of ph down instead of flora bloom.. Sucked.. Had to start over and drive back to krogers and get 10 more gal of ro at like 11 pm..
