I am growing a specific strain; it is my meds and the primary strain I am growing. It is by Ice River Genetics and is called Snake Oil. It is high CBD, and low THC. I purchased a 10 pack of seeds several years ago. Anyway, over the past few years I have been collecting seeds from this strain. The plants were never around male plants but have produced seeds. Not sure why a female would produce seeds when they were never around a male. The plants I am currently growing are from some of those seeds. What are some of the issues of using these seeds if any? Should I continue to use these seeds or get new ones? I no longer can identify the original seeds (if I have any) because I put the collected ones in the same container.

Your seeds were created by your female plants popping a few male flowers. There's no danger in using these seeds. They are "feminized" naturally. If it works for you, keep using it.

You might consider other CBD strains that don't pop hermie flowers, but to reproduce plants with no male or female with hermie flowers, you would have to learn to clone.
