If the plants are against the wall they will "see" this as competition and gain height as wellI have lighting for a 3x3 area and I want extra room to be in there, can I have a bigger tent and just keep the plants in that coverage range? Or does the lighting need to cover the whole tent? Like of my setup was 2/3 of my tent and my light is placed over the area on the plant side and I'm able to be in the other 1/3 without compromising the even lighting? I hope I explained that correct...
Well thank you! I had posted about equiptment a bit ago and fondant decided on everything but the light...so I have about 250 to spend, I'd like LED. Was thinking about Viparspectra P2500 for a 3x3 area in a 4x4 or 4x6 tent and then at some point add more lighting when I get another tent, so I do want the space. On the meantime is room for my butt. Anyone know got something they love with that lighting need in 250ish range? (Amazon has a lot of coupons on name brands). I don't need fancy, just want to grow great weed..
PHLIZON sells decent lights good price. Probably give you a coupon code if you ask em.Well thank you! Aw, poo, I'm in NY...If you're in Canada I have a SF4000 you can buy off of me.
Ha, well....I'd love to do that, so I'll let you know when I've got the bread!I'm the wrong guy to answer that I'll spend your $250 five times over lol.
I'd go with the most watts per dollar. They're also sponsors here so they might have an Amazon coupon code to offer. And I think they're on sale right now. If you message them I bet you get another 8-10% off or so.Thanks!! So you thick a 2000 model or higher for 3x3?
Yea. You telling me?? Lol. I spent the entire day yesterday reading and comparing. Now I'm even more confuzzled. I learned a ton of shit and all it did is make this even harder!!! So, I decided this....I just want a good fukn light. I'm gonna remove the cap on what I want to spend and say that I don't want to get ripped off or buy an inferior product. But I want a good light. I have a 4x4 tent and I'm going to set my tent up using a 3x3 area for the plants. So, I want a square area and I want the light(s) to cover the area completely. I'm a new grower, but I know how to work with plants. I don't like to do things half assed. And I don't like to have sub par equipment for hobbies (hobby=fun...). I gave my outdoor crop much love and the conditions were against me....and I know this. Every year is something else. This year it was dry heat, last year botyritis. I poorly selected my strains, over trained, over pruned and they still looked pretty good. So indoor, I want to step up my game... and from what I learned over the years, lighting is arguably the important variable. So if I tighten that up with good, proficient lighting, solid genetics and a quality pH pen I'm bound to be proud of my girls. I'm drying now and I've got airy, leafy ladies who lost a lot of weight. I'm lucky if I get 8oz out of 10 autos! So, I've got a lot to learn, but if my environment is nurturing, that's a start! I just know i love growing. It soothes me. It makes me feel part of many things, including nature and community, and self love revels in the magic of optimism.I'd go with the most watts per dollar.
