The only humidity problem I get is too low even with water in the bases. I humidify on a really regular basis in the winter. Part of the daily routine now.
I'm battling that now and in the Arklatex it's a rare problem. Usually it's the opposite. But no snow ✌️

What do your VPD numbers look like with light on and light off?
About the same. 1.74-1.76. Not ideal, I probably need to bumb up the humidity a little bit.
I have the exhaust fan kick on higher when it's lights out, and it seems to help keep it level.
I'm using some of the AI, but also the automation.
I've got the lights steady at 4, and the exhaust fan is on 1 all the time but kicks up to 3 when it's lights out, and stays there 'til lights on.

Nose blindness has saved my marriage a few times for sure.
My wife is very tolerant and supportive but I do not like the house smelling like a hooka bar.
But the raw smell of cannabis growing into flower is something that my wife said is fine. It does not smell like burning pot and she said if the carbon filters stop working don't worry about it.
Sounds like a good compromise. I also don't like the smell of stale smoke but the plants themselves are completely different. Even the drying/dry flowers are great. But right now the Northern Lights are irritating my sinus' a little. Sure hope I'm not becoming allergic. Akkkk

I might not be understanding. Did you say earlier that nothing was being vented out?

Ideal VPD numbers for your strain and history:

Veg
  • 0.8 – 1.1 kPa
Early Flower (Weeks 1–3)
  • 1.1 – 1.3 kPa
Mid/Late Flower (Weeks 4–8+)
  • 1.3 – 1.5 kPa
Higher VPD reduces humidity in dense canopies, helping prevent mold while still driving resin production.

A little concerned with humidity if there is water in the bases. I don't vent my tent outside or into another room, it all stays there unless I open the door.
This time of year you shouldn’t have any issues. Summer time you’ll want to exchange the air some

I have the tent set up in a spare bedroom and the tent is open to the room. At first I kept it closed, with the exhaust fan venting into the room, but the windows were fogging up and that was a no go. So I opened 2 of the doors of the tent to the room and am trying to keep the air moving with a couple of stand fans. Temp. is around 75 and humidity hovers between 45-55%.

I had an issue with the AI app. I wanted to add a small space heater to the room (not the tent) and I got the AC Infinity plug strip that works with the controller. For some reason it threw the humidity reading off, it said 35% all the time. So I took it off the app and now the humidity reading for the tent is fine.
Now that I think about it, it did come with a probe, that I didn't use. That might be it.

46 days. Okay, call me a control freak, but I'm not likin' the AI thingy. I really prefer the Automation or set it up yourself option. And no, I don't get the benefit of perfect VPD, but I want to grow the way I want and it doesn't seem quite right with the 'computer' handling things.
On the flip side.
I obviously tried to kill my plants, they just won't die. 😉 So I'm keeping on, keepin' on.
What I find interesting is the variation in the plants from seed. Four plants four very different flowering types and times? Granted, 2 different vendors, sets of seeds. Possible I have 2 of each, and their Northern Lights Autos have different parentage.

I decided, almost too late to bend some of the branches down. I used a hook and brass thingy from an auction I did years ago.

I believe I over fed them a week or so ago. Tried to correct a watering issue and then tried to 'fix' it. Didn't work. Now, I have to figure where to put them when the family visits in a couple weeks.
Galgrows had the right idea, wait 'til AFTER the holidays to start a crop. Oh, well.

Well you were excited to try. But i'm with you on the "gadget thingy" i can barely understand all the new ways folks are growing with AI and graphs.
