I looked for info. on how to grow tobacco an found this, sounds alot like growing our favorite herb. (except the part where the seeds are the size of dust. LOL

It’s a unique plant to grow, top it once and snap off the suckers once. Really a simple after they are transplanted. The gum on the leaves takes sticky to a whole nother level

I will certainly ask for advice before embarking on that journey.

BTW, I took some leaves off the greenhouse plants. They have Septoria spots. Most were from the 2 Hindu Kushs, but a few were from the 2 Afghani Winters.

Can’t tell if it’s pre-or premature! Assuming it is a photo! You should know in about a week! Whatever it is, you’re kind of stuck with it!

So, my plants have gotten too tall. I believe I tried to 'lean' them to early (again) and now as they are going into their flower stretch I have to take action. I'm going to try HST on the main stalk, near the top. But first I have a dentist appointment. (hour in the chair while they grind off my 12 yr. molar readying it for a crown. yuk) (good thing they have 'gas' available. LOL)

Why don't u top them earlier, then train them. They turn into bushes instead of tree's.

You could take more of the tops off Cpur if you really want to it won't hurt them at this point. Just cut 12" or more from the tops. Unless you really want to just bend them further outside their boxes. Good luck

Thanks Gal, you too Hoss, I guess I'm preserving the tops to eventually become sacrificial lambs. Every year my biggest top colas develop bud rot due to many different factors an I keep thinking that if I chop it off, the others may suffer the same fate.
Now that I read that over it sounds a little silly.
Some seem to be in pre-flower, if I top them now what will it do to the rest of the branches?

You may have to bone up on tote drying! I imagine you still have a few totes! unless you got a place to hang all of that! Good chance it will ripen all around the same time.

You're better than me I broke a branch off yesterday I have noticed drastic differences in strains and training. Some will bend really easily but I hae 1 that doesn't like training. Humboldtseedcompany.com chicken and waffles snaps so easy it's concerning but their strawberry cheesecake is can tie a branch in a knot

Heya Cpurola I just wanted to let you know that I have been used this method for bending plants with great success. It’s on YouTube search using how to bend cannabis plants. There’s a hippy looking fella on there that explains it all and he is wearing a plaid shirt sweatshirt and beard it’s the best video I’ve watched on this topic check it out

Weed schooling! That was the first YouTube video series I ever watched! Matter of fact, it’s the only one I’ve ever watched! Other than Jade! Lol! Wonder whatever happened to old Scott! He kind of disappeared abruptly! There was a lot of good information in that series! Presented simply! Including some tote drying! what’s going on, nerves of steel? Do you have a thread going? If not, post what you have going on over on Mine! Been a while!
