I'm watching the three Afghani landraces that survived. One in the 12, one in the dirt and one in the 7 gallon bag. They all seem to have some resistance to Septoria, but still need to be sprayed. The Kalini Asia in the dirt, however, has less resistance and has some spots all the way up to the top leaves. And behind her the Hindu Kush looks like it may not make it til harvest cause it started flowering later. Oh, well, if I can't have it all, I'll settle for most. LOL

Your in a tight race might be a close finish but I’m rooting for you girl you’ve already knocked it out of the park keep at it your doing amazing things I know how much work mine are and you have 3 times that many good job 🫶🏻🪴

Sticky Beast is dry, so I cut the large branches, and now it needs to fit in the storage box. (wink, @Oldchucky)

Went out and sprayed all this morning. Later hubby went out to cut the grass and came in early cause of rain. harrumph
We're supposed to get rain tonight, so I'll spray again tomorrow. Soon as it dries up a little I'll go out back and strip diseased and yellowed leaves.
(This is getting old. 🫤)

My shop is on an organic farm. Farmer gave me some regalia to spray. He said spray before it rains so it dries on the leaves. Seems to make sense. I thought it was better after, soon as my stuff comes in I’ll try the pre rain routine.

I imagine it is getting old. As much as i love growing outdoors i'm ready to finish this season and enjoy the freedom of not watering and feeding the gardens. A over nighter at the coast sounds good I love Bandon.

Oh I get it. I’m sorry you’re dealing with that mess. I’m sure it’s better to have it than not.
I looked up organic farming and these were recommended for various fungi. Since I wasn't absolutely sure what I was dealing with, figured hit'em with everything and see what happens. I'm also trying to preserve the beneficials in my garden.

Wait, just heard the weather....I may lose more than I want. Supposed to rain every day except Friday for the next week. Damn!

I feel like a child next to them. Before I cut any more I need to take the ladder out and get a drone type view.
Before I started coming to this site, I had NO IDEA that cannabis plants could get as big as what some of the grows on here are. If I can get one plant in the ground half as big as yours and as beautiful green, I'd be beyond thrilled.

Drone flyovers of many of the grows on this site would be cool. Though I understand why people don't do it.

I'm always curious about where to plant. How close to buildings, trees... how much sun/light they get etc. I think I cooked a couple of my potted plants in the sun and then discovered how much they loved being under a shade tree when it was 98f and sunny. I started this year thinking any amount of heat and sun was great for them.

Wish you the best of luck the rest of the way :)

Grow regular seed instead of fem or auto. Start inside a couple months before outside date which is when chance of frost disappears in your area. If there is a protected site (eg. against the garage or between barns) use it to keep plants tied to and not breaking. Add peat and aged manure to soil to hold water. Earth shouldn't be pure sand. You are right that super hot and dry won't be the answer although it's what some farmers have to work with now. If you have some shade use it.

Wish you the best of luck back.

Why just why suggest starting with regular seeds again. You have to sex them before you bother putting them into valuable places. It's all in the strain resistance to pathogens and diseases. There's nothing worse IMHO than coming outside to a male🤨 absolutely nothing worse than wasting your time on a male outside 😑 i am sorry I am ranting but this subject really gets me fired up🤬🤬

I'm not seeing much difference in vigor between the regulars and feminized. Pest and disease resistance isn't much different either. I try to buy seeds from breeders who grow outdoors but they don't always tell ya.

My solution for boys is to plant a little more than I want expecting some to be male. If you end up with no males and an extra plant or 2 that's okay.

When I find a boy I give a home based, totally natural, vasectomy. Works every time.
