Cross-breeding hemp with marijuana

Well I'd like to bring up this discussion to anyone farmers who could weigh in on the effects of cross pollinating a hemp plant. Hemp is legally and technicaly no more than .3% thc with a high percentage of CBD. I read that cross pollination can spike THC production of hemp offspring while I've also read that it can reduce cannabanoid level. I'm in the very process of cross pollinating both 2 Scoops (marijuana) and Cherry Wine(hemp) strains and I'm on team THC so I'd like some tips as I'm new to seed production in general.

I know now. Both THC and CBD levels will degrade by half across all the female phenotypes. When hunting for a viable one, I'll want 10% of each chemical in the weed ideally.

Where did you get that information. I have some sativa seeds who's mother was high in THC. I'm trying to fund out if it got pollenated by hemp, will it even be worth growing? Thanks
