Hi farmers,

I'm new here in this forum, despite already cultivating for many years in Brazil. I'm currently keeping some pretty cool experiences in my garden. I decided to open an account here in the forum to meet people of the community of cultivators outside Brazil. I hope I can make friends here. I also hope you enjoy the garden and make critics and give suggestions. Thanxxxx :woot:

Here is a native Brazilian sativa. Unfortunately it seems that this genotype is not very good. Already there are 12 weeks flowering and she not produce consistent flower or resin.

She is in a part of the garden which I called "Flowers 1". Along with them, some Moby Dick X Shiva Shanti. Gift from a friend.

Now this is the part I call "Flowers 2". When I rented this house for cultivation, won many seeds Hawaian Snow and Mexican Sativa. I germinate all, but I ran out of money to buy the soil and the pots. So as not to lose the plants, put all in the sand straight from the garden of the house. Incredibly they are doing very well and are blooming beautifully.

Thanx for the visit bro! In Brazil are different regions. Some change with the seasons. In the South / Southeast, the summer is 14, 15 hours with the sun light. I live in the Northeast. Here is 12/12 all year.

The current law says that marijuana use is prohibited. But possess or grow for personal use is a crime, but does not imply in prison. There is only a fine. But justice is crazy here. Each delegate / cop / judge acts in the way that suits their own interest, according to the color, hair type and amount of money that the "suspect" has. There are cases of growers to 40 plants that were two hours at the police station, and go to home free, only pay a fine. And other people who were stuck for weeks and months, because of 20 plants. All very uncertain.

So, i forgot tell about the food for the plants. because they are the secret of the "sand buds", in the "flower 2" area.
When I realized that it would take some plants in pure sand, I decided I would make an organic tea and give it to the plants daily. The tea is made with a bucket, 6 liters of water, 1/2 tablespoon of lime, 2 tablespoons of molasses, 400ml of humus, 100ml cow manure, 100ml of sheep manure. This mixture is 24hs oxygenating with an aquarium pump.

I bought magnesium sulfate because it is something that is very lacking in plants. Begin to apply from tomorrow. Every 15/20 days I diluted a bit dolomitic limestone with water irrigation.

Supertrhive never used, but have already bought. I'm waiting to arrive. I'll test it on some plants. For plants that are blooming i've applied the organic tea, added to that around here, in brazil, we call "banana tea". I put some unpeeled bananas in a blender with water and molasses. We hit everything in a blender. Then boil until reduced. The broth is strained to stay thin. This broth is added to water, along with oxigenated tea, to add potassium, phosphate and vitamins. Next week I ordered some imported fertilizers. Surely the Big Bud (indicate something else to flora?) And I am also thinking of buying something to help in the task of tea nourish the growing season. Any suggestions?

Hi vaporedout

The need has made me rethink the rules: D. I started using buckets. Then pots of butter used in delis and bakeries. They sell very cheap. Then trash bags. Today I am thinking about making a large bed of soil with cardboard boxes for the next crop. : D So. About the laws here. I found this translation of Brazilian drug law.
http://www.unodc.org/enl/showDocument.do?documentUid=4760&node=docs&country=BRA&cmd=add

But, the resume of penalties:

III - educational measure of participating in an educational program or course.
Paragraph 1 The person who plants, cultivates or harvests plants used to prepare a small quantity of a substance or product capable of causing physical or chemical dependence, for personal consumption, is subject to the same measures.
Paragraph 2 In order to determine whether or not the drug is intended for personal use, the judge must consider the nature and quantity of the substance seized, the location and conditions under which the action took place, the social and personal circumstances, as well as the conduct and criminal history of the offender.
Paragraph 3 The penalties set forth in subarticles II and III of the caput of this article shall be applied for the maximum period of five (5) months.
Paragraph 4 For repeated offenses, the penalties set forth in subarticles II and III of the caput of this article shall be applied for the maximum period of ten (10) months.
Paragraph 5 Community service shall be performed in community programs, entities that provide education or assistance, hospitals, similar public or private nonprofit establishments, preferably dedicated to preventing drug use or to the recovery of drug users and addicts.
Paragraph 6 To guarantee the fulfillment of the educational measures mentioned in the caput, in subarticles I, II and III, which the offender unjustifiably refuses, the judge may subject the offender, successively, to:
I - verbal admonishment;
II - fine.
Paragraph 7 The judge may ask the Public Power to make a health care establishment available to the offender, free of charge, preferably outpatient, for specialized treatment.
Art. 29. Upon imposition of the educational measure mentioned in subarticle II of paragraph 6 of art. 28, the judge, considering the culpability of the conduct, will determine the number of fine days, never less than forty (40) or higher than one hundred (100), attributing to each, according to the economic capacity of the offender, the value of one-thirtieth to three (3) times the value of the highest minimum wage.
Sole paragraph. The values resulting from the imposition of the fine set forth in paragraph 6 of art. 28 shall be credited to the National Anti-Drug Fund.
Art. 30. The statue of limitations for imposition and execution of the penalties is two (2) years, pursuant, with respect to interruption of the period, to arts. 107 et seq. of the Criminal Code.

Honestly, I don't! (Have any suggestions, that is.) You've pretty much got most of it covered to my eyes, especially since you're willing to use what you find around you to good end. I really like it. :)

What's up curandeiro? Nice McGyver skills man. I absolutely love brasil. Most my in laws are in patos. Thats how it's said not sure if spelled correct. Last time was 2011 took my dad fishing in the pantanal. Both times I was there ihad the same experience with bud. It was worst stuff EVER smoked. Only weed I chose not to smoke that bad. I gota track down better stuff next time I go. do you know how hard it is to not smoke for three weeks when your used to a joint for breakfast. You said your from the northeast like natal? Love the north east coast of brasil even though my favorite place was Porto seguro.

I wish to encourage you to go slowly on the addition of imported nutrients and additives.
They are expensive and often confuse results.
Your plants look good, and your inventiveness is a joy.
The advise I offer is about web etiquette.
You are not required to respond to comments.
Report and read, but even good people get into fights about details that have little to do with anything.

I hope google translate works with my writing.
I predict you will be very popular here.

I agree with Dunge, you are using the best nutrients now..organic! That tea should work just fine. Have you tried composting? The most important thing to do is to build up that soil. You can get earthworms that will quickly compost your vegetable scraps , leaves, newspaper strips,

Thank you Seamaiden, Danknbeans, dunge and fluffygrrrl! Sorry to delay! But is too much plants. They consume all my time :D.

Thanks for the advise Dunge. I reaaly don´t know nothing about web etiquete, specially in english speak foruns. This is my first time in one. Thanks! I stop to buy imported stuffs. In fact

Fluffygrrrl. I don´t have a compost pile because i don´t live in the grow house. This house don´t produce any garbage to compost. The only garbage in this house is watter botlles and pieces of cannabis plants. All the things i use in the house i prepare in other local. But i look for some earthworms to put in the garden. I hope this week i found then :D.

Danknbeans. I live in the northeast of the state of Bahia. If you come to brazil again, please let me know and i help you to don´t smoke to much garbage :D. In fact the marijuana sold in brazil is garbage. Is terrible. 80% of the stuff sold here comes from the the brazilian mafia, with conection in paraguay. A small country in the southest of brazil. The brazilians gangster go to paraguay, buy all the marijuana and pressed to send to brazil. The other 20% is growing in the semi-desert regions of the northeast. In the region call with the name "Marijuana Polygon". This stuff is genetically the landraces from brazil. But, the police do operations every three months to prevent the crops. So, In 1970, growers harvested only when they reached the peak of ripeness. Today, marijuana is sold rotten, and is harvested when still starting to produce resin. This result in the only two types in here. Pressed paraguaian garbage and non-pressed brazilian garbage. I reaaly don´t kwon wy brazilian´s don´t have disgust to smoke this shit. But, in fact, nowadays there are many growers selling their flowers. In big cities like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and others already is very common to find the growers seeling their buds to restricted circles of people. But it is still a very restricted market and quite expensive. While a gram of marijuana-trash costs between U.S.$ 0.25 to U.S. $ 3.00, the gram of bud costs between U.S.$ 30.00 U.S. $ 60.00, sometimes even more.

I I am making an upload some photos just now. Pretty soon they go up here! Thank you!

Hi farmers. Sorry for delay posting the photos. I had problems with internet access. First photos from the"banana tea". The process is simple. Hitting the bananas with molasses and water. Everything simmer until reduced. sift everything.. Use diluted with water.

Now, some photos of the garden. First it must be said that much has changed here. I gave a generalorder in the garden and cleared the weed, which is infested by various pests. With this gained more space, especially in the "Flora 2". Some of the vegetative transplanted to soil. Plants are unknown to genetics, but are exploding in pistils and blooming beautifully. Almost daily I folded the plants to force them to branch out. Why are so bushy. All photos from the garden are from yesterday. The kif process and the bud pictures is from 2 weeks ago.

Now some pictures of the "Flora 1". 7 are Shiva Shantix Moby Dick. Gift from a friend who made homemade cross. And the first unknown. Ie. This bush below are 8 plants together. All very large. Least a small mobyxshiva which is the blooming first, very small. I think I was the only one that was not affected by the light of the vegetative part of the garden. Other yet not started flowering because of the interference of fluorescent lamps. I stacked some bricks and a wall to see if the situation improves. I hope they start to bloom soon. Have shown female pre-flower.

We harvest the plants were flowering. Gave an average of 7 g each. The leaves I gathered with a great sativa that stubbornly refused to fatten much in bloom. All hit and made a kif. Plants were small. Served as experience. You can see that the rain made the sand soil spill and dirty the buds. Means that is a problem with flowering smal plants here.
