Cure humidity is too low

First time grower. I jarred up my first grow about an hour ago. I put in a hygrometer and it read 50%. About an hour later and it's reading 48%. Will it naturally rise over time or should I intervene? I bought some 58% Boveda packs in case I needed them so I guess I'll put one in if it doesn't raise on it's own in a little while. I'm just not sure what to expect at this point.

48% is low. It does change, and I've seen it rise as the buds release their remaining moisture. I don't think a Boveda pack will raise it very much. There are other ways. To raise it a lot, I've used a piece of carrot wrapped in foil with pin holes in the foil. I suggest letting the humidity stabilize for a day. Then decide what to do. The inside of buds tends to retain moisture longer.
