Curing and burping. Storing throughout

Can you use plastic containers to store while curing in beginning ? Or so you have to use glass mason jars? My neighbor has huge yield one of theirs is called captain America that’s how large it is. And thinking of using a plastic bin to cure is that gonna work?

You absolutely should use plastic before jarring.

But plastic storage totes from Walmart/home depot? Heeeeeell no. Food grade plastic only. 5 Gallon buckets with the gamma omega lids or whatever they're called are popular.

I use plastic food storage containers, trichomes stick but no more that glass jars. Jars probably seal better tho.

I should add I hang dry 7 to 10 days then segment it into brown paper shopping bags for 10 to 14 days then dry trim back into paper bags for another 4 to 7 days do final trim straight into glass jars 2 Oz each jar seal up and starting the burping game for 14 to 28 days then seal n start the curing game for at least 3 to 4 weeks depending on strain just my way of doing it doesn't have to be yours . Od .
