Thank you. That is something I’ve heard mentioned but I don’t know much about them. I’ll do some reading thank you :)Look into grove bags . They work wonders and no need to burp during the cure.
How do they handle LONG TERM... IM starting to hear that they are not great for storing long termLook into grove bags . They work wonders and no need to burp during the cure.

Thanks for your reply :) would you put a humidity monitor and humidity controller pack in every jar ?Yup, Put the mooch on a friend that works in a restaurant. 1 Gallon jars are great.
Oh yes. I see them on ebay and Amazon. Thanks for your reply :) would you put a humidity monitor and humidity controller pack in every jar ?
I can take some pictures later sure :)So how about sharing some pictures of your setup with us.
Are you growing Auto flower or Photo Period?
Tent size?
What light are you using?
Pot or bag size?
What medium are you using?
What fertilizer are you going to feed your plants? Threw Veg
Threw Blooming cycle?
Do you have
PH Meter?
E.C meter?
PH meter?
Anything you can think of you would like to try that you don't have yet?
What ever you can think of you like or don't like?
I do not use meters in jars as I found they are just not accurate at all... I had 2 meters in 1 jar... 1 said 52 rh and other said 69rh....That looks cool
In my case I’d estimate needing 16 or so of these jars. Plus humidity monitors and moisture fighters. Do you put these things in your jars ? And how regularly do you check them for mould ? Thanks for your reply :)
Ah like a well experienced proI do not use meters in jars as I found they are just not accurate at all... I had 2 meters in 1 jar... 1 said 52 rh and other said 69rh....
I burb by smell of nugs... usually once in a.m. and once in p.m. for 1st few days to a week then burning once a day after that
A few of us will say simpler is better... i quit ph checking and found out the up and down are full of HEAVY METALS...my ec pen... not sure if it works anymore... once you learn to talk plant and rely less on "techy" stuff the easier and more fun it becomesI can take some pictures later sure :)
- I’m using a 150x150x180 grow tent
- Photo periods (critical orange) (in the interest of honesty I planned autos but my boyfriend bought photos by accident)
- I am using the spider farmer SF4000 with ‘intelligent’ 6in inline exhaust with carbon filter
- 18h day 6h night at the moment. Will change to 12/12 for flowering
- I am using a properly calibrated pH meter and testing my pH after nutritents settle. I pH to pH6
- 15L plastic pots but currently still in their starter pots. They’ll be transplanted later
- I measure EC (ppm) and add CAL MAG to an EC of 4 (?) or what ever it recommends on the bottle
- They only had pH balanced water for the first week and now they’re on their seedling schedule
- I’m feeding General hydroponics micro grow and bloom as directed on their label. I would tweak if my plants showed any burn or deficiency
- Medium is 70% coco and 30% perlite
- humidity is around 65% as they’re young and will decrease as they get older
- temps are between 70 and 77f
- fan set up to strengthen stems
I can’t think of anything else
120 USD and still countingAh like a well experienced proGoing by instinct and experience. Nice.
The meters aren’t so much of a problem. They’re cheap enough. But the JARS?! I’ll be dropping like £100 on jars!
I’m excited to get to this stage of experience and knowledge :)A few of us will say simpler is better... i quit ph checking and found out the up and down are full of HEAVY METALS...my ec pen... not sure if it works anymore... once you learn to talk plant and rely less on "techy" stuff the easier and more fun it becomes
Like I said, If your small town you can ask your local restaurant for jars they usually give them away. Start now so they will likely save a couple of jars a week for you. You can get 10L or 20L plastic buckets and if you pay attention to what you are doing cure in them. Just make sure your bud is dry enough. It's really not that big a deal.Ah like a well experienced proGoing by instinct and experience. Nice.
