Like I said, If your small town you can ask your local restaurant for jars they usually give them away. Start now so they will likely save a couple of jars a week for you.
Dude good call I forgot about my mushroom bucket curing days

Ah like a well experienced pro 😉 Going by instinct and experience. Nice.

The meters aren’t so much of a problem. They’re cheap enough. But the JARS?! I’ll be dropping like £100 on jars! 😱
If I didn't fuck up as much as I have over time I would not have learned from my mistakes....

Just remember this....

If at 1st you don't succeed....your running about average😉

Hi everyone,

I’m (optimistically 😏) anticipating a large yield. I have currently 9 photo plants in my tent. They’re only 2 week old seedlings so I have plenty of time. But I failed to consider how to cure such a large yield.

I see most people cure in jam jars or 1 or 2L mason jars. With about 1-1.5 oz (30ish gram) in a 1L and 3-4oz (60 ish gram) in a 2L.

My 8 plants are critical orange with one euphoria skunk (free seed 👍🏻).

These are quite high yield anticipated plants and I’m really conscious of bud rot. I’m aware of humidity and temperature. And moisture control packs etc. and keeping a humidity monitor in each jar.

I don’t want to be burping and keeping an eye on 150 little jars. But at the same time I don’t want them all in super massive jars in case of mould so I don’t loose too much in a worst case scenario

For a yield like this - in your individual experiences - how many and what size jars would you recommend? Or perhaps you would recommend something totally different ?

Thanks in advance ☺️
The small humidity meters that folks put the in jars are 100% of the time badly calibrated and pointless as they are when new and un calibrated.

I did a test on 50 of them as I knew a seller and was interested not one was right.

good news is you can test yours if you buy one and make it useful

simply fill up a cap with salt and add a drip of water to it. Not so much water that it becomes runny and dissolves just a very small amount.
Pop it in a bag with the cap of salt seal it and put it somewhere dark at room temp like under your bed or something leave it a full 24hrs ( during the last hr it may rise ) so do the full 24hrs , take the meter out it should read 75% if it doesn’t you can mark how much +/-

The 1/2gal Masson jars are what you want. Keep the buds loosely packed in there with lots of air space. Burp 3 times a day for a week or two. Make sure flower is dry enough for stems to snap before jarring or you will destroy terps.

I read some use gamma lids and 5 gal buckets. I harvest, at most, 8oz every 3 weeks so jars are fine for me.
