okay ppm at 275 gonna leave it there, new reservoir gave them another 4 inches from the light to bring it around 11.5DLI with the 20/4
Whats your source water? Its likely the high dose of cal mag thats giving N tox. Check your cal mag and i bet you see the sources as calcium nitrate and magnesium nitrate
damn, spot on....@Aqua Man Yes it does say that… live and learn I guess. Redoing res. Going to put in 1/4 of what I did 1tspn per gallon I thought
You need to add a buffer… read this.Just got some decent pics of 1week of progress , small is end of second week big is end of 3rd weekView attachment 1245096View attachment 1245097
Can you link the remineralizer? Just want to make sure its not a softener that’s adding sodiumunless im missing something, my RO has a reminalizer, and ive really never had a problem with PH fluctiating i check it maybe 1-2 times a day, always stays between 5.5-6, when it gets to 6 i do 1/2ml till its close enough or at 5.5
Yup it absolutely can but it MUST be mixed first@Aqua Man i also have potassium silicate which im reading can help prevent the fluctuation or act as a buffer?
Whats the ppm after remineralization?Think it adds back too much salt? Maybe I can dilute it with some tap? Not exactly understanding what I’m looking forView attachment 1245239
Yeah you need a buffer bro15-18ppm
Yeah only 1/2 cal mag max, id suggest 1/4 but you have the mixing order bang on brotherso when i have it for my res put about 75ppms in of Bicarbonate then add call mag then nutes then adjust PH correct?
What ph down are you using?Almost had to use between 40-50ml of down from 9.0 to 5.5 I did dilute it a lot as I put it in, 25gallon tote hope I didn’t make the water toxic
