Cutting plants before lights come on?

Is it really better to harvest plants before your lights come on?

hi mate ive been told and read that it is better to leave your lights off for 48 hours before cropping to maximise your yield.this is supposed to fatten your buds up with more resin.

i think it matters but its not make or break either. it helps the buds ripen up for sure though.
