Long time lurker getting ready to do my first grow log for you all. Thanks for stopping by!

Current setup:
Veg/Clone/mom tent (well nearly dead snips for now)
2x3 tent
250w HLG chinese knockoff
oscillating fan
temp/humidity stat
hurricane fan with carbon scrubber

Notes:
Got some lackluster snips that arrived in probably the absolute worst condition imaginable. Trying to hang on though.
Diesel and Strawberry Banana
well the strawberry is near death so you know...hopefully they will resend as it was not my fault and I will eventually get a decent replacement

2 Diesel's left that might have a chance but not sure they will give me a decent mom or not.

I have a bunch of seeds I am going to try to germ this week that I got from a couple friends too.

Any suggestions on trying to save these cuts is welcome. They arrived a day late and the temps were -30 as luck would have it. Its much warmer now but the damage was done. Hope to get fresh snips or maybe even rooted cut replacements in a week fingers crossed.

Peace
D

might have to start over😵
did they use healthy moms how long did they ship
what is your temp rh

They arrived late in the arctic blast and the paper towel wrapping the base was frozen solid. I didnt think they would make it this far. But I am hopping for a miracle. They've been nursed about as much as I can. They did look like they came from healthy mom's this is 9 or 10 days in the aero. Temp is 75 and RH is 40 trying to keep it up but its winter... Normally they'd have all rooted by now. I usually get roots in 6-8 days.

RO and 450ppm of bloom. Ph is 5.8.

Thanks for stopping by!

the late arrival and rh is your issue, you cant grab some rooted ones āœŒļø šŸ‡æšŸ‡¦

I just saw some snips last month that looked worse than these, they are now flourishing. Sometimes you get lucky lol.

The nana are now goners but I moved the aero under a T5 and put a tarp over it to raise the RH a bit. Should have tried that when I got them but I am a little rusty. Still keeping them quarantined.

Got some fresh cuts from a very special friend! They still got a little cold and I have figured out that the 14er cut of Strawnana does not like the cold. Real Sour, ECSD, 14er, the Trinity and a lovely breeders cut of Sacred Princess #7. They are perking up especially by the light. Its been cold and working on getting them to a more permanent setting. Didnt want to rush them into too much light so I figured might be best to wait a few days before putting them under a new LED I just got from Mars Hydro. Tent, fans, scrubber the whole bit. Added a heating pad yesterday temps are mid 70'sF with RH 30-40.

80/20 Canna Coco brick/Perlite
fed
20 ml Canna A+B
20 ml Rhizotonic
20 ml Cannazyme
ph 5.9
Trying to feed everyday to 15% runoff. Today I foliar sprayed 1/4 tsp each of liquid karma and calmag.

I have heard the Sour's can be picky eaters if anyone has recommendations on feeding and foliar thanks!

The Trinity have all 3 had tiny nubs since day 4 but they are still not rooted. Pretty good looking still one is a bit yellow. The Arctic Diesel survived the freezing and rooted after 14 days. I was amazed, but give credit to the aerocloner and the t5. I have since gotten another snip off the Albany just in case. I also picked up a '97 NY Blueberry sourced from the Brook which is supposed to have intense blueberry taste on an all green plant.

Trustfall's Sacred Princess #7, ECSD, The Real Sour and 14ers Strawnaner are getting up potted and put in their new home soon. 3x3 or 4x4 tent with Mars FC-E4800 480w light. Running 80% Canna Coco/20% Perlite Drain to waiste. The Real Sour is showing a bit of variegation and a bit of issues with the outer leaf edges look burnt. I am thinking Magnesium. I am fresh out of Epsom until tomorrow but will try that with foliar.

Got them up potted with a bit of mykos and tried a little gypsum which might have burned them. Also fed 1.6ec for 2 days but backed down to 1.2ec with flush and the new growth is looking good. A little light green with some variegation on the sour d's. Feeding Canna AB with the rhyz and cannazyme at 5.8-6.1ph. Hand watering for a couple more days. Also 2 days running a little on the dry side to get the roots to boom. Probably go to 2 feeds a day with runoff. Go to 4 a day when I put them on drip.

Might add epsom salt to the .4ec tap water for the sour d issues? Thoughts appreciated!

A bit of PM on the Trinity lower stem and bottom of lower leaf sets. I have hit it with everything under the sun and it keeps on raging. Not sure what to do at this point. Guess I may have to look into a sulfur burner, not familiar with the process. PM was first spotted on snips of Upstate/Weasel Diesel which arrived completely frozen. They were kept in different rooms and different aerocloners so maybe it had something to do with the cold weather transit.

I planted out of the aero about a week and have 1tbs silica blast / 5 gal to help build the cell walls and see if that will help get it under control. The upstate is no longer showing it. Obviously spores are of concern so keeping air moving and really thinking hard on a sulfur burner but not sure exactly how to go about it.

PM not respoding to:

-Flying Skull Nuke'em at strong strength
-DIY-iso, sals, neem, sm90
-DIY-h202, baking soda, sm90
-Dutchmaster Zone, sm90 (i don't have penetrator/transport) might grab some transport to pair with the zone but this stuff is stuck between the cell walls pretty hard.

All looking pretty good. The sours are still a bit light green. I have been adding epsom to the nute mix.

I will reply with this because I have seen this exact same thing as I as a practice would use liquid rooting compound and then dip in dry powder after making cuttings and this had been a practice for many years zero problems I had the time I encountered this by mistake used a bottle of liquid root hormone that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay past expiring and exactly the same looks I did manage to salvage 70% of them but used a spay bottle to water from the top peat puck rooting cubes to slowly leach out excess hormone from the now swollen rooting peat pucks. They didn't show this until way after rooting had begun and then within a day all exhibited this. Make sure you are using a heat mat with thermostat regulator. I root all seedings and cuttings at 82 f . Rooting hormone contains possibly gibberellic acid indole butyric acid ect. Plant hormones are actually a constituent in weed killer and will cause the weeds to exhibit the same look but in a much higher concentration and will act much faster. My guess is someone uses a combination of hormone, a batch of hormone that was way past expiry date. I did a grade 9 science paper on the effect of various plant hormones on germination of cannabis seeds under the supervision of my biology teacher under different concentrations and this was proved to be the effect of to high of a concentration of plant growth hormones. The ones growing with the suitable concentration did incredible well into starting past cotyledon stage. the ones with too high of a concentration grew spastically briefly and then expired. The control groups no hormones grew as expected with slower incremented progression as would normally be expected. My guess is Growth hormone issues change the water as I see your doing aerated water propagation and to leach I would suggest change of water on a interval, plus watering from the top to leech out excess hormone or expired growth hormone. Good luck I hope this was of some value and information. Cheers boss don't give up hope I salvaged two of my own strains of cuttings that I very little seeds in reserve.

The cuts arrived completely frozen solid. That is the sole reason they were having issues. Everything even the frozen Albany is now rooted and vegging away and in good health. I did loose the strawnaner but a friend gave me an already rooted cutting so everything is fine.

I am careful with my rooting hormone and only use clonex. I never dip into the container and only pour some out to use. You can tell when the clonex has gone bad as it goes from thick to water in consistency. Appreciate the insight.

You're a boss if you salvaged frozen clones šŸ‘
