small correction for ya though that cali is called CALIFORNIA SUNSET not sunrise, i was working on a cali sunrise but things did not go as planed so i have only done and released the sunset at this point.

The smell is hard to pinpoint for me...best I can say is a mash up of lemon-lime and sweet cherries. I grew this one from seed which is from f6 stock of a pure Maui line that was supposedly sourced in 1977. Seeds were gifted to me several years ago. The on pictured was the best pheno of 4 females. Didn't take any cuts before flower unfortunately but will definitely try to re-veg her.

Fantastic looking plants...f6.....'77.....thats a very special strain indeed. Its fairly obvious from the structure of the buds it was meant for an intense light source.....im curious what it would do givin the soleil...im sure its a blast too smoke.
