Hot son of a bitch down there for a week, defective! Do you get any relief from the ocean or are you stuck right in the middle of the oven? On the upper rack! Don’t think it will bother the plants!👍 But it might bother a few growers!🥵

Ya man, not as hot as the inland empire or where you’re at, but still hot next week…today was 100…plants don’t mind, I water deeply once a week and the mulch keeps em happy even in this heat.

That doesn’t look too bad! Glad you’re not in the i.e.! The air quality isn’t the best in IE either! Kind of rough there!👍

I hear you! I lived down there quite a while when I was young! Worked in Tustin! Lived in HB, garbage Grove, several other places down there! I got out and swore I would never go south of the Tehachapi again! 😁🍻 Brea! Pomona! Hemet! Like a pot plant! Always had shallow roots!🥴🍻

Howdy folks. Things are rolling along over here…been debating top dressing, but I think I’m gonna roll with what i got…been working good shit into this soil for the last couple years and they seem to be healthy so I’m gonna stick with the no till and just water..
in order of appearance:
Cherry lemonade (trop cherry x plcg)
LA Con from homegrown cannabis co.
Apples n bananas x okie
SC Blue dream bx

Man, this trop cherry x platinum lemon cherry gelato has really stolen the show for me, this was an afterthought, I had two freebie seeds and said what the hell…seeing pink down in there already and frosty af…in addition to being a beast of a plant, it’s gonna be beautiful too, well, they all are but you know…

I have two going right now I acquired from Capt Spaulding…he did a preservation from his ‘86 seeds.

One of my all time favs I hadn’t had since ‘92…I started the hunt for them last year and have Kona from Hyp3rids as well as Pua mana ohana too (grew one last year and wasn’t what I expected, still good tho). I’m hoping the Capt’s are what I’m looking for…I recall sweet floral pine/earthy.

The two I grew indoors from Capt Spaulding were good, but not what I have been looking for from my earlier days…haven’t had the chance to pop the Hyp3rids…I think what I was told was Kona, was not Kona gold….i purchased some Puna budda from Pua Mana as well…supposed to be more of an Indica structure and short flower time, my last hope for that elusive smoke from the 90s really…the plants I saw growing back then were not sativa looking…it’s shot in the dark.

That's disheartening. When I was there I asked to go see my friends brother's grow but he said "Hell no, I am not taking a howlee up the hill" So I really don't know what they looked liked. But I know what the final product smelled like and smoked like. We'll see.
