not sure if anyone remembers the small trial I set up to see if defoliation is better than non defoliation here are 2 NL clones both started tha same time in the same soil mix 50/50 amended potting mix with Cal & MAG as main input . I let them veg for 2 weeks @18/6 then flipped to 12/12 they are now starting the 4 week of flower and had 1 week of canna boost at rates of 10 ml to 5 Lt water .

Good comparison to do very interested to see the results I usually defol and often wonder if I'm doing harm...i don't think so because large outdoor plants require that to achieve ripening of the lower inner branches!! Anyways good study!!

when I do this I take off lot more this new batch I have going is nuts best I feel I done so far
I just don't take tones of leafs from the top ill pinch where its best to bend where top leafs are getting the most light


I been super lazy on uploading this last batch kind of funny when I was doing bad id post like crazy now eh not so much and they so sexy

I took more off this plant than the first try these have been super cropped seems to be working well for me

sure looks like its working have u thought about tiein some of them stems down to widen it out a lil to get the nodes in the mid to pop up a lil more??

kind of like that but with the new growth u got off bending the last time
with u being in flower id not do that to much now lol

Got you I'll let these keep going no super crop if I need to I'll stake them and rap a band around for support I've managed to get the silica into them each week so nice and strong stems on the colas .

Sweet I just received some seeds going to soak a few differences strains really stoked I scored 3 new clone strains and 5 seed strains all in the same week ... Winning 100%

Oh I've been the same here only had NL for over 17 years now . Don't be to jelly I'm sure you grow wicked crops .

Yes I hear you now I have new stock I can't wait to get them growing like a big kid in a candy shop I'm doing a run of Sweet black Angel and Moby dick then Cheese and lemon haze after that . Watch this space TT.

seen pics of moby dick crazy looking plant that and shark bite

I love lemon tasting plants eon flavor that I find truly cross over in to the taste
