Defoliation pics two weeks into flower. Did I get carried away?

Got a new light and decided to open up the canopy a bit and trim some fan leaves. I got carried away and couldn’t stop. I sure exposed a lot of light green, suffering bud sites though.

I am two weeks into flower and must of removed 200 leaves from 6 plants.

2 plants are re vegged BUSHES that need it bad.

how many can I remove before:
1. It stresses the plant and
2. It becomes counter productive?

No not at all. Ive done 2-3x that 2x over now. Mostly because i have to for air flow. Ive been slowly instead of doing 1 mass defoliation doing that over days. But to each their own. In my eyes its fine what you did. If you are comfortable with it then its not wrong. Doesnt look like its going to hurt it. So no worries there.

Looks great guy, like...more airflow, less habitat for bugs, increased upward growth.

Awesome. Good to know. I went crazy and felt like I basically trimmed 60% of the big, purple stemmed, main, dark green fan leaves.

I will trim my re vegged mutants some more. They need it bad.

i posted this in MI thread but here is one of my tents. I had to take 2 plants out of this tent and put them in their own 4x8. But you couldnt see through to the other side. I had to do it twice now. Once before i started flower because of spider mites. Then i did it again a few weeks ago and have been slowly trimming as things show deficiencies or just start to go down. by the time im done it will look like @JiirxTTV pictures.
So these are 3 plants that are left in this 4x8 tent

** dont mind the white spots its captan fungicide i slowly rinse off through flower. this was a few days ago and they've had 2 foliars since.

Ok. Did I go too hard on this one? It’s a re vegged monster that was abandoned and just a total mangled bush. I basically lollipopped it. I am two weeks in. I got some marble sized buds forming already on most of the sites so if there was still buds that weren’t formed and light green and puny at this point, they got the chop.

probably trimmed about 100 small bud sites and 20 or so branches. Left 20 solid upper bud sites though.

I must of removed about 100 aphids too.

thoughts?
